I take a deep breath and huff. Sitting up with a painful grunt, I prop myself against the wall and pull out bandages from my pouch. I jut my jaw out in irritation, feeling it pop as I release another huff. I clench my teeth as I peel off my hoodie and then my shirt, leaving me in my training bra.

Welp, my clothes are ruined. There's blood-soaked into the shoulder and scorch marks and holes in the back. At least she didn't hit my bra strap.

I sigh and shake my head, patching myself up as best I could. I know I'll see Sota-sensei at the end of this and if I'm somehow miraculously healed then questions will arise. Besides, using Minor Health Potions give me headaches and makes me nauseous after too many and I'd for sure need more than just one.

I can feel myself sweating as I finish up my shoulder. I couldn't help the strangled noise at the back of my throat as I tightened the bandage.

I slide my shirt and hoodie back on with a wince. I then proceed to take off my shoe to bandage up my ankle. I pierce my lips as I furrow my brows.

Somethings not right here. Those clones were no doubt trying to kill me. But that doesn't make sense. If those clones were Sota-sensei's then they would have gone for nonfatal blows. I'm positive they were an ally's clones, their dots were originally green. But then their eyes flashed and their dots turned yellow. It doesn't make sense.

I finish off the bandage and put my shoe back on with a curled lip.

Whatever, I need to find the others.

"Why couldn't you just fall for it, your friends did!"

I bite at my cheek and pull myself to my feet. Glancing at my HP bar, the majority of it is red, 601/2800.

I take an experimental step forward, and then another. I suck in a breath feeling great ire as I realize I won't be able to walk on it with this pain shooting up my leg. I lean against the wall and look through my pouch.

I need something to numb pain, but I don't have anything here. Ughhh. Inventory.

My inventory opens and I search through with a quick scan.

Sheepskins, Large Eyeball, Urn of Leeches, Thread of the Labyrinth, Jar of Tar, Diseased Mushrooms, Lots of Maggots, Jar of Pickled Toes... Thread of the Labyrinth?

I tap on the ball of thread with the glowing purple outline, the usual dark purple window pops up with information.

While no creature is attuned to the thread, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary ball of thread. When a creature attunes to it, the thread's true nature is revealed.

While attuned, the thread is invisible to everyone except the creature attuned to it. Only the creature attuned to it and creatures with true sight can interact with it.

Untangled Guidance: When unraveled at a specific point, the Thread allows you to retrace your way back to that point without a fault as long as you are on the same plane of existence. While attuned to the thread, you can ravel it back into a ball by pushing chakra into it. The thread can extend for a number of miles equal to your INT and is impervious to tangling.
