Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, bandages hanging from my left hand, I gingerly bring up my right and trace where I got stabbed. There was nothing there. No scar, no scab, no soreness, nada. As if it never happened. There's nothing on my ankle either and I feel nothing different when I touch the back of my head.
Wow. Just- wow.
After I'm done staring in awe, I finish changing and put the bandages in my inventory to be tossed out later. I head into our bedroom and shake Naruto awake softly like I usually do.
"Precious, hey. Wakey, wakey." I whisper. He groans and whines, pulling the pillow over his head. "I know, I know, I'm sorry." He lays there a second while I rub his back in comfort. He slowly moves the pillow off his head.
"Food?" He mutters, half asleep.
"You told me not to, but if you want me to I can." He furrows his brows at this, eyes still closed. He mumbles something incoherent and gets up and starts getting ready slowly. I glance at the time and gather his ninja gear for him, double-checking everything and making sure he has everything.
"How are you this awake? It's like, 4 in the morning." He grumbles.
I giggle, "Naruto, we went to sleep at 8 last night."
"So?" He tries to slip on his right shoe while standing and stumbles around trying to keep his balance. I go and hold him still and he slips it on without any more trouble.
"Fair enough, I think it's early too. But I've been awake long enough to shake off the sleepiness." Which was true, I woke up a while ago and already made his team and my team lunches, put them in my inventory, and cleaned up my mess in the kitchen. I ate while I was making them since I didn't want to eat in front of Naruto while he got ready. I figured if I helped him get ready I could let him sleep a little longer since I know he doesn't like waking up early.
I hold open his jacket and he slides his arms in and zips it up. "Thanks," he mutters, yawning. He wanders off into the bathroom to do his hygiene things, and I fold his blanket and arrange the pillows in their proper spots.
Eventually, he comes out and puts on his prepared ninja gear and I walk him to the door. "Want me to go walk with you?" I offer.
"Nah, I'll be fine, thanks though, believe it." He denies.
"If you say so, I'll see you later then, after you've passed."
"Believe it." He gives a toothy smile and laughs. Once he leaves I find myself sitting on the bed, looking out the window. I have a few hours until my team meets up, and I don't want to miss Kakashi when he comes to collect the lunches, so I think I'll just meditate. It was pretty relaxing last time and the effects are amazing. I can raise my VIT stat more this way without having to use any more points.
~Time skip~
I jolt as knocking on the front door brings me out of my meditation. The sun has risen, and there's a green dot outside the front door. That must be Kakashi.

Damn, no VIT stat increase. Oh well, next time maybe.
I spring off the bed, and bound to the front door, getting the bento boxes from my inventory. I open the door with a bright smile.
"Hey Kakashi, I was wondering when you'd show up. Naruto left a few hours ago." I giggle.
"Yeah, I got lost on the path of life." Kakashi rubs the back of his neck, his other hand waving.
I hum, "That path can be an interesting one. Here ya' go, don't wanna keep them waiting much longer." He blinks at my response and I see him analyze my face while he takes the lunches from my grasp. My smile doesn't falter and we say our goodbyes as he leaves, with a wave over his shoulder and a giggle from me, I shut the door once again.
