A/N: So sorry for being gone so long! Some family stuff happened again (which is usually why I go away for a month or so at a time just fyi) and I was away from my computer. On that note, I know I'm going away for a lil' while for other side of the family stuff so at least this time there's a warning :p. Anyway, I still need an answer for what to do with Sasuke! Any preferences???
~Time skip~
I sigh, laying outspread on the soft grass in the middle of the training ground. The soft blades tickle my skin as the breeze caresses around me. A flock of birds flies ahead, and the trees rustle, music playing softly around me. Today was a long day of training for Ichigo and Taro and me. They already left because Ichiro had to help his mom paint their house and Taro was going camping with his Dad tonight to celebrate being considered for the Chunin exam.
I haven't seen much of Naruto today, I think he was going to hang out with Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon. I checked on them not too long ago and saw they were with Iruka-sensei. I wonder what they were doing. Speaking of Iruka-sensei, he's been watching me in the trees for the last minute or so. His dot is green with a tan line across it, matching the scar on his nose.
Suddenly he throws a Kunai at me and starts laughing maniacally, cutting off my music. I catch the Kunai and raise an eyebrow. I raise my arms and yawn while I stretch.
"That wasn't very nice Iruka-sensei." I pout, looking right over at him. He's standing on a tree branch while transformed into a rain ninja, full with cloak and hat, eyes pure white.
"I'm not this Iruka-sensei. I am here to weed out the competition. Don't show up to the Chunin exams if you know what's good for you." He warns.
"Iruka-sensei, please." I sit up and whine, twirling the Kunai on my finger. "Not today, maybe another time?"
"I have told you, I am not-" He presses, leaping to the ground. I sigh and smirk.
"Fine, we can play." I giggle, leaping up and charging him.
He gets into a defensive position, and I act like I'm going to leap above him. When he reaches up, I slide beneath his legs, pulling him to the ground and we start to wrestle. I laugh and giggle the whole time as we try to pin each other, he tries to pull out a Kunai, but I twist his wrist forcing him to drop it and use my other hand and slide it into my Kunai pouch where I put the other one.
"Thanks for the free Kunai." I smile cheekily, I pull a rope from my inventory, shocking him. Using his shock, I tie him up swiftly. He keeps squirming so I tie him up hog-tied like I did Kousuke, and stuff a cloth in his mouth before pulling his mask back up.
I haul him up over my shoulders and leap into the trees and make my way towards the green dot with the ash grey outline. Once I hop onto the roof, he turns around with a widened eye. I toss Iruka-sensei's still transformed body in front of Kakashi-sensei.
"So," I start tilting my head, "I don't know if you know anything about this, but Iruka-sensei is being a meany head and won't admit it's him, so I'm just gonna leave him here with you."
Kakashi-sensei just lifts a hand and waves, so I wave back and giggle. "Have a nice night." With that, I turn around and slide off the roof and make my way home.
~POV Change~
Iruka finally shifts back and grunts, looking at Kakashi for help. Kakashi just sighs, "I warned you, and you didn't believe me."
Iruka just attempts to sigh and sags in defeat. Kakashi walks over and bends down, untying the rope. Once the cloth is out of his mouth he huffs.
"So, how did it go with the others?" He asks nonchalantly like his friend wasn't just dumped hogtied and gagged at his feet.
