A/N: So, Sasuke. Curse mark? Yay or Nay? Thoughts???
~POV Change~
Tazuna's scream could be heard from miles around. The team leaps up from the table and races into his bedroom, Kunai are drawn and prepared to fight off intruders. Tsunami and Inari stand in the kitchen with worry filling their beings. Once the team enters the room and assesses there is no danger they turn to Tazuna and freeze.
Standing there, in all his bridge-building glory, is Tazuna. Only he's purple, A deep royal purple color coats his skin and a powdered purple-dyed his hair. Naruto busts out in laughter, Sasuke coughs, turning his head away, trying to cover his amused smirk, and Sakura giggles, a hand to her mouth. Rei? She isn't there, she's out training with Zabuza and Haku, but they most definitely heard the scream causing her to giggle maniacally and Zabuza and Haku to raise an eyebrow.
Kakashi? Kakashi fills with fear, and dread as he trembles. He knew it was only a matter of time before she struck. He got complacent, thinking maybe she decided to spare Tazuna since it had been so long since they'd been here without incident. He was wrong.
The Genin on the team didn't seem to notice their sensei's despair as they poked fun at Tazuna as he yelled. Eventually, the Genin leave the room deciding food is more important than the living grape in front of them and heading back down for breakfast. Kakashi stands frozen, staring with his singular eye at the mirror in the corner of the room. Tazuna caught his gaze and looked at the mirror, freezing as well.
There on the mirror, written in an unknown purple substance, was a note. Watch what you say, or the next time it's permanent. With a little drawing of a flower with a droplet of unknown purple liquid dripping off of it.
~Time Skip~
~Rei's POV~
After a teary goodbye to the villagers and a mishap with Naruto's ramen coupon, we finally set back for the village. Zabuza and Haku left a few weeks ago, right after I finished learning the Hidden Mist Jutsu. They could have left sooner health-wise, but stayed until I completed the training anyways, though Zabuza would never admit it outright.
It was hard to see in the mist, but my minimap helped out a lot until Zabuza decided to blindfold me, that is. I could still see the map and all the other things around my vision, but I decided to close my eyes anyway. Which made it a lot more difficult and ruined the point of the mist, but it was fun nonetheless. I leveled up a few times while at the Land of Waves, which is nice.
The team eventually found out about the 'Mysterious Old Lady' that had been helping out the people when Tsunami went into town for ingredients and heard about it. The team decided to check it out a few times, Kakashi-sensei even joined once or twice, but somehow they were never around when she was. They never gave up, even when we left they deflated a little because they never found her.
The way home was pretty uneventful. Kakashi-sensei kept glancing at me, so I figured when we reached the village I'd have some explaining to do. Luckily I've had time to piece together what I am going to say and think up any questions they might ask me. I haven't let Kousuke out of my inventory either, and I'm not sure when I'm going to. I'll have to eventually, he's taking up precious inventory space that I might need later.
I cut up the boar and we ate him at Tsunami's place, and I let L start making the boar's hide into leather. We weren't back in the village more than an hour before the Hokage's messenger bird landed on my shoulder with a note to report to his office. I fed the bird some seeds and made my way there.
This leads to now, standing in front of the Hokage, Kakashi-sensei to my left.
"You asked to see me?"
