My vision sweeps black before going bright white. I flinch back a little, it only lasts a second, but it is really bright. I glance around, blinking a few times. I was in a stereotypical Dungeon. Stone walls, moss, cracks, vines. I see the lines on the ground, they're glowing slightly. I glance at the mini-map. The room branches off, but I don't see a door where the mini-map says.

I see short, pale, hunched over monsters with long pointy ears. They're wearing dingy, loose, ripped white tanks. They don't appear to be wearing pants. Their eyes are sunken in, and their nose is long and pointy. They have an angry scowl on their faces. There seems to be about 6. They seem to not notice me.

[You are now in the Dungeon tutorial. Not all Dungeons will look like this. Some will be outdoors, some will be cold, some will be hot. These monsters are known as Level E Goblins. Levels will range from weakest to strongest in order from E, D, C, B, A, S. Monsters' appearance will alter slightly from various levels.

You must defeat all monsters in the room for the next one to open. Be on the lookout for hidden doors that lead to bonus rooms or treasure chests. This is just a tutorial, these monsters are weaker than the ones in Level 1 Dungeon.]

Seems legit.

I glance around. The Goblins still seem nonaggressive towards me. I'm sure that'll go away once I step out of the Safe Zone.

[Items Received:

+1 Small Potion Bag

+1 Common Wooden Sword

+1 Minor Health Potion

+1 Minor Chakra Potion]

Potions? Sword? Bag? What?

[Enter your Inventory and take out received items.]

Inventory.

The Inventory opens and I select the new items, the only items in my Inventory.

The items I selected pop into my hands with a poof of smoke. The Health Potion is cherry red, the Chakra one is cobalt blue, the Bag is a light tan color, and the sword is wooden- as long as my arm, and heavy. It's one of the medieval style swords. The Potions are slightly bigger than the size of my palm diagonally and in long thin glass tubes with a cork at the top. The bag is about the size of a sandwich size Ziploc bag, with a drawstring at the top.

[Slip the Potions into the Potion bag and tie it to the hole in your shorts.]

I blink as I hear that.

Well, way to call me out.

I kneel to the ground and set the sword down. I slide the potions into the drawstring bag and loop the drawstring through the hole in the seam on the left hip of my shorts and loop it around so it just hangs there.

[When ready to begin, step out of the Safe Zone.]

I take a deep breath, pick up the sword, and walk to the edge. I glance around at the monsters once more and step out. My vision flashes red. All their heads snap to me as they launch themselves toward me. I yelp and jump back into the Safe Zone. They immediately turn back around and start wandering again.

My eyes stare at them widely.

Holy-

[Coward.]

Bitch. Bet.

I hop up and run out of the Safe Zone. Red flashed my vision briefly. The ones facing me immediately start running at me, moving very quickly. The others hear the footsteps and red exclamation points appear over their head as they turn and do the same.
