Mark Evan 'Ev' Hansen:

BackStory:
Evan lived with his mom (Heidi) and dad (Mark) until they divorced. In an attempt to make his way back into Mark's good side and bond with him once more, Mark has persuaded Evan into helping him be Imposter. Evan accepts, and finds strange joy in not obeying anyone anymore. In short, now they are both Imposters, despite not having killed anyone.
Zoe Murphy:

Role: Crewmate
BackStory:
Zoe and Connor have been inseparable since they were young, and still are now. They decided that this would be somewhat fun, and boarded the spaceship with Evan and friends.
Connor Murphy:
Cis Male
Role: Snitch
BackStory:
Connor was hesitant about boarding, but ended up doing it because Zoe persuaded him to. He's been friends with Evan, Jared, and Alana for an awfully long time now, and his parents decided to tag along with the group.
Jared Kleinman:
Cis Male
Role: Jester
There wasn't a specific reason as to why Jared boarded. He'd complained about it, yet seemed excited after boarding. Jared was a huge joker since he was young and boarded with Evan and friends.
Alana Beck:
Cis Female
Role: Sheriff
BackStory:
Alana loves her friends and she's extremely smart. She even had a 'small' crush on Zoe in the sixth grade (Connor told her to back down: she did as she was told.) She has justice problem too, as she would go to any lengths for any problem's solution. She delightfully joined the group when boarding the spaceship when it was first mentioned.
Mark Hansen:

BackStory:
He and Heidi divorced when Evan was sixteen. When Evan wanted to bond with him, he found it a big opportunity to help him embrace his darker side; After all, he wanted to bond with him, right?
Heidi Hansen:
Cis Female
Role: Crewmate
BackStory:
When she and Mark divorced, she was heartbroken, but she got over it for Evan. She and Cynthia became friends. Evan had seemed a bit suspicious since the divorce though, which is why she wanted to tag along to the trip. Mark and her are now on okay terms.
Cynthia Murphy:
Cis Female
Role: Crewmate
BackStory:
She wanted to tag along to the trip because Heidi was going and she dragged Larry with her. She also was going to make sure the kids were going to be alright too.
Larry Murphy:
Cis Male
Role: Crewmate
BackStory:
He got dragged along by Cynthia. That's it. That's his backstory.

Imposters have a red glint in their eyes, which is how they identify other imposters. Surprisingly, they do not arrive on the ship together. Most imposters are posing as someone they've killed, hence the name 'Imposter.'
Crewmates can only identify other crew if they do a vis task, like the OG Among Us. If vis tasks aren't on, the imposters might have hacked into the mainframe for them to not show.
Jesters are in a secret alliance with the imposters, probably for revenge. They are aliens with a pink glint in their eyes that no one has been able to see until they are about to get killed by them. Jesters have special adaptations, depending on what map they're on, and each Jester will feel a sudden blood fury once they climb back onto the ship and kill everyone until they are the only one left. They automatically kill every crew and imposter unknowingly and win. Mira HQ Jesters have a sensor that releases a rope from the airship. Once the crew leaves, they can climb onto the airship once again. Polus Jesters are immune to lava and feels 'like a warm summer breeze.' When the crew leaves, the Jester climbs out of the lava. Skeld Jesters have similar adaptations to the Mira HQ Jesters.
Sheriffs are crewmates that have been informed of imposter(s) in the ship. They prepared themselves with a gun that is only loaded with the number of bullets that there are imposters. Sheriff bullets are special and have one circumstance: If the Sheriff attempts to kill a Crew, both the Crewmate and the Sheriff will die.
NEW ROLE: SNITCH
The Snitch is a professional hacker who is also a Crewmate. Snitches must complete their tasks in order to have the free time to hack the mainframe and find out who the imposters are.
The downside to the Snitch role is that they are very noticeable. Some Crew don't do their tasks, and whilst some do, the Snitch is one of the only few speedrunning their tasks.
Another downside is that the imposters are alerted when the Snitch has finished their second to last task of who the Snitch is. Snitches are also not allowed to have a button, for this makes the game a bit unfair. They can push the button, but it will give them one more task to complete if they do.
Crew only knows that there are imposters on the ship once they start to kill. An automated voice message coded into the map by the imposters will go off once a body has been found.
Each person's eyes glow a certain color, revealing their role. Crew is blue, Imposters are red, Snitch is a shiny gold, and Sheriff is yellow. Jesters are the exception. Their pink eyes only show when they are about to kill you. If role reveals aren't on, then their eye color will only show to other ghosts. The science of this is unknown. Something about the Imposter's presence is suspected. If role reveals aren't on, then their eye color will only show to other ghosts.
Each person has a watch like program developed into their astronaut suits.
For Crewmates, the Sheriff, and the Snitch, it has a list of tasks they must do.
For Imposters, it has a list of people alive and a sabotage map. (Once the Snitch is on their second to last task, the program beeps and flashes gold lights on the player who is the Snitch. Once the Sheriff attempts to kill a Crewmate, the program beeps and flashes yellow lights on the player who is the Sheriff.)
For Jesters, it's how many votes they've received in past rounds.
The thing these programs, called 'I.W.E.L.D.' (Internet Wired Enjoyable Lunar Device), all have in common for all players is the task bar and a Notes app. Everyone is allowed to download apps on their IWELD, like YT and Twitch. Social Media apps are prohibited, but Video Games are allowed. If it is an online game, chat cannot be on.
