When Thor had left the apartment he had gone around the back because he didn't want anyone to see him. He had the shopping cart resting on his hip, it only took a second to call lighting from himself and he rode it to the Wal-Mart. He set himself down in the back of the building, there appeared to be no one back there at this time of the evening.

The cart glowed a little from the electrical charge and he hovered his hand over it as he pulled it back to himself. To him the amount was nearly unnoticeable however to a mortal it would be enough to give a nasty shock. Better to absorb it than leave it to chance that no one would come to investigate the glow.

He chose to walk to where he had parked Stark's vehicle, the distance nothing to him as he was used to walking nearly everywhere he went. Unless he was on horseback but that was rare these days. His recent duties had been more diplomatic than combat, still trying to settle the damage Loki had inflicted on the Realms when the BiFrost had been destroyed. Not being able to instantly travel to other Realms had opened opportunities for Mauraders to take advantage.

The walk allowed him to think, to prepare the words needed to make sure that mage Strange released the collar if he was still reluctant. Loki would be stuck here on Midgard if the collar remained, perhaps that knowledge would be enough to convince the man. As soon as Loki shifted back to himself they could world-walk anywhere. Certainly off Midgard.

Seeing the vehicle in a nearly deserted parking lot belonging to several businesses that were open all night, he pulled the keys from his hoodie pocket and used them to unlock the driver's door. Slipping inside he started the engine, abruptly feeling a sense of relief. He was doing something,  taking action to solve the problem that was weighing heavily on impatient shoulders.

"Your Highness." The voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. settled the last of thor's tension. "I hope Prince Loki's absence is due to favorable circumstances."

Thor found himself grinning, "Yes, most favorable. We were given sanctuary by a Midgardian who could not be a better guardian for my Brother. She is fierce in protecting him yet compassionate in her dealings with him. I could ask for no better."

"I'm most pleased to know this. Is there somewhere you wish me to take you?"

He nodded enthusiastically, "Yes, I wish to go to Stark's Tower. I need to speak with the mage Strange about the removal of Loki's collar."

There was the smallest hesitation before J.A.R.V.I.S. replied, "I will contact Mister Stark."

Thor's fingers drummed impatiently on the steering wheel, he didn't want to be told by Stark to remain away. He needed to move, to work towards solving this dilemma. He determined that even if Stark didn't wish him to return to the Tower, he would do it anyway.

"Mister Stark advises that you refrain from returning to the Tower as both Agent Barton and Romanov are in residence. He states that he has not heard from Doctor Strange yet in regards to having Prince Loki's collar removed."

Thor's scowl twisted his entire face, he wasn't pleased with this development even though it had been expected. "Tell Stark that I will be coming despite his wishes." He had driven a Midgardian vehicle before and now he prepared to do it again. He grasped the handle that he knew caused the vehicle to go forward, it resisted him and he put slightly more pressure on it.

"Mister Stark requests that you refrain from damaging his vehicle and has agreed to meet with you," J.A.R.V.I.S. spoke rather quicker than his normal speed, he seemed anxious for an AI.

Thor smiled without humor. "Very well, take me to him." He paused, "And thank you J.A.R.V.I.S. Your help is appreciated."

"You're welcome, Your Highness." The vehicle moved forward through the parking lot and its headlights turned on as they drove onto the street.
