**This chapter is set 4 weeks after the last chapter ended. Eda is 19 weeks pregnant.**

"Just a moment... Just a moment more...", Dr. Nehir was repeating these words like a mantra. She was rolling her ultrasound transducer over Eda's very visible bump, while closely studying the monitor.

Eda was lying on the examination bed, tightly grasping onto Serkan's hand and murmuring, "Boy!"

"Girl!" Serkan whispered back, he was leaning down and was very close to Eda's face.

"Boy!" Eda said again.

"Girl!"

"I said Boy!"

"Mhmm, girl!" Serkan corrected. They were going back and forth at each other for the last few minutes, ever since Eda had been lying on the bed.

"I'm sure it's Ethan!" She was adamant.

"Tell that to Giada!" He shotback.

"It's Ethan!" She hissed. "Ethan! Ethan!"

"When Giada asks, you are dealing with her. Alone!" They continued their playful squabble.

In the meantime, Dr. Nehir found what she was looking for, after studying the monitor thoroughly and doing double checks. She looked over at the couple, to find them too busy squabbling within themselves.

"Aa-Hmm," Dr. Nehir cleared her throat, letting them know of her presence.

Both of them stopped bickering at the same time and apologised together saying, "Pardon", with sheepish smiles.

"It's Alright." Dr. Nehir waved her hands dismissingly at them, before asking with enthusiasm, "So, who is excited to know the sex of your baby?"

"Don't ask. We are dying to find out ever since Eda became pregnant." Serkan replied reminiscing of all his funny run-ins with Eda due to this.

"I guess you both will find out in the next few seconds." Dr. Nehir turned her monitor towards the couple.

"Now, those..." She circled a particular region of the video display screen with her pen, "Those are definitely girl's part. You guys are having a baby girl! Many-Many, Congratulations!" She announced, with a big smile.

"Yesss!! Babyyy!!" Serkan exclaimed, peppering countless kisses on Eda's face. Before straightening up and giving her a childish grin, his dimples appearing.

"Alright-Alright. You get your wish." Eda drawled. "We're having Giada for sure. Poor Ethan, he will have to wait." Eda sighed playfully. She tugged at Serkan's arm and he leaned down to kiss her, it was a short and sweet kiss they shared, to mark yet another joyous and remarkable milestone in their lives.

Eda wiped the gel off her bump and Serkan assisted her in getting off the examination bed.

Dr. Nehir assured them that their baby girl, who was now the size of a coffee mug, was growing at a steady rate and all her vitals were developing fine. They thanked her for her time, before leaving the clinic.
