01. We are back bitches

Clarke's pov

Time flew by fast next thing I knew I was awake and out of the tube I was so grateful for.

Wait was it time already. Who woke me!! I got up and started looking around when my eyes landed on a tall dark figure, my vision was a bit out of focus.

"You are Clarke right" came from the figure

My eyes finally came into vision and it was a boy. He looked a lot like Monty but he had blonde hair. "Yes and you are"

The boy turned and walked to the door of the room and then turned to look at me "l'll explain in a second but first come with me, don't worry I already got Bellamy, Octavia, Raven and John up. We are just waiting on you."

For what. Why were they waiting on me and who was this boy. On my way out I noticed 4 pods open not including mine.

We got to what I believe was the control center of the ship and there stood Bellamy and the rest. I ran over and gave Bellamy a tight hug then Octavia and the rest.

"Uh" the boy sighs as he looks at us " my dad told me that when I wake after 200 years I need to wake you up and play this for you."

We all sat down and watched the tape that Monty and Harper made, it brought everyone to tears as we stared out the window of the ship and down at earth which was now fully green and beautiful again.

The boy was Monty and Harpers son. He said that there was a part of the video missing and that he'll try to salvage it but he makes not promises.

This time we know there is no one on earth but you can never be to sure. We start a fresh, new and we can do better than we did before.

"Should we wake up the rest" Octavia said braking the silence.

"No"

"No, why not"

"Not until we know it's safe and survivable"I said turning to face her "We won't put anyone's like in danger, so we won't wake anyone until we know it's safe. Deal"

Everyone agreed.

"So who is going to hit the ground first...again"Bellamy said putting on his jacket

"We back bitches" Octavia shouted out into the open. They launched us in a smaller ship that separated from the main.

It felt like the first time we landed on the ground all over again. The fresh air blowing through my hair, the excitement of the rest and how there faces lit up. We are home.

We walked for what felt like hours when I decide we had to come to a stop "We'll camp here tonight and at dawn we split up. Bellamy, Octavia and John will stay on earth and head north and see what you can find. Me and Raven will head back up to the ship and wake the others. We will start with Truikru and work our way down"

"Why don't we start with our own first. Skykru" John said clearly annoyed by me

"Because we owe Truikru our life and they know how to get around earth and where to start. If we want to get back to civilization"

"Or is it because Lexa was Truikru and you wish she was here with you now" Murphy said clearly pissed

"Yes we owe her our life too but no that's not the reason. We need there skills to get by if we wanna survive" I sat down next to what now was already a camp fire that Octavia started" Truikru can fight and we don't know what awaits us here on earth. Yes everything got destroyed but we thought that the last time and look how things turned out"

"Did you forget some of our people lived through the ring" Octavia's face dropped clearly pissed at what Murphy had just said. Murphy is starting to piss everyone off including me. Why did Monty say we should wake him.

"Murphy" Bellamy shouted in an annoyed voice.

"I was just saying, our people first..."

"And we'll get there but for now Truikru is our priority" Murphy was being a total dick and pissing everyone off. Feels like home.

🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡🗡

"Okay so you guys head to north. Here is a compass and we will meet back here in two days."

"Clarke please be careful" Bellamy said right before they disappeared into the trees.

"Don't worry they will be fine"Raven and I headed back to the mini ship.

"Raven how fast can we get there and back" I can't stop think about what Murphy said about Lexa. I miss her so much she meant the world to me. She died in my arms. By now I could feel the tears coming on, every time I thought about Lexa I would cry I mean could you blame me?

I totally spaced out not hearing what Raven said about us getting to and back from the ship. Raven was the only one that could fly the ship and the only one that can work with the controls and stuff so I get why Monty asked to wake her, Bellamy is a soldier and frankly he was once our leader too and Octavia is a great fighter but what I don't get is why he wanted us to wake Murphy. Murphy was useless and only useful when being a cockroach.

I went into one of the rooms because by now the tears were falling down my cheeks. I went and planted my head on the pillow and tried to fall asleep.

Lexa! Lexa! Lexa!

"No, no not Lexa I can't loose you. Come back" I shouted as I sat up on the bed with Raven next to me

"Clarke it was just a bad dream your fine" I pulled Raven in for a tight hug

We have all lost someone close to us during the wars. Many fought for what they believed in and for those they had to protect.

Everyone lost some people but as Indra said before we only grief those we have lost once the battle is won. The battle is won so now we all grief. Now the pain of the past can sink in and we can reflect. We can miss and cry about those that aren't here with us today.

"We are almost home" i pulled away from Raven and sat up. I wipe a tear that was escaping from my eyes and got up.Lexa. I miss her so much but her legacy and memory lives on through us.

"I wish you were her just for a moment"
