As the day got later and later their mansion became more and more populated with workers making it harder to get out without being seen.
Running back into the woods I got undressed and put my own clothes back on. Grabbing my jacket and purse with the teenager's shirt, walking over to the van where the boy was starting to wake up. "Thanks for the help." I smiled, tossing his shirt back to him. I walked briskly down the sidewalk taking my ponytail out of my hair.Stumbling into my hotel room noticing the time made me sigh knowing I should start getting ready.
Once I was finished in the amazing hotel shower, it almost broke my heart to get out of the relaxing, steamy shower. I blow-dried and curled my hair after applying lotion to my body. Applying a light coat of makeup, I walked over to my black slit dress hanging on the bathroom door.
About to let go of the soft white bathrobe around my naked body when I heard something in the other room.
I quickly grabbed one of my nearby guns as I slowly opened the door and looked around. I was stalking around my bedroom with my gun pointed and ready to shoot when I heard light footsteps in my closet.
Kicking open the door pointing the gun at Julian's head making him raise his hands in surrender. "Julian! God, what the hell?" I breathed full of annoyance as I quickly pulled the gun away and uncocked it. "Did Boss give you all this?" He asked, looking around, making me nod, shoving the gun in my robe pocket.
He motioned around to the dozens of guns and knives our boss gave me with the free hotel room.
"Yeah. Pretty crazy right." I smiled weakly. Julian walked over as the vanity opened revealing all the excessive weapons. "Woah." He breathed, picking up one of the guns in awe.
"He must really want you to get the mission done." Julian said as I looked away nervously. "I still have no idea what he looks like. How am I supposed to kill him when he could be anyone at the party?" I asked, making him put the gun back.
"Just introduce yourself to everyone and you'll eventually meet him." He said. "What are you doing here anyway?" I asked closing the vanity before leaving to finish getting ready.
"Boss wanted me to check on you to see how everything is coming for tonight. This party is important for you to get embedded into their family." He explained making me roll my eyes already knowing how important it is. I walked into the bathroom before closing the door most of the way to change.
"Yeah. I know you don't need to explain." I said slightly loud, failing to hide my nervousness. I have never had any problem with a mission before but knowing how important it was to my boss was giving me uncontrollable nerves. Once I was dressed, I strapped my knives and a small gun to my upper thigh.
Walking out of the bathroom I saw Julian looking outside the window making me walk over and sit on my bed. After putting on my black Louis Vuitton heels, I stood up flattening out my dress with my palms.
"Woah." Julian breathed as he turned around making me smile. "You clean up nice. I know who everyone's going to be looking at tonight." He said, making me scoff. "What's your alias' name?" Julian asked curiously.
"Carmen D'Angelo." I answered amused looking at him to see his reaction. Julian hummed in reply, studying my face. "Yeah, you kind of look like a Carmen." He said, making me laugh. "What does that even mean?" I laughed lightly.
"The name suits you. It's better than a name that sounds fake. Like Anne Smith or something." He explained making me smile again until I noticed it was getting dark making me check the time. My eyes widened slightly, grabbing my business cards and placing them in my black clutch purse with my fake ID and phone.
