Wings Of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy

~Seven~

"I hope Starflight was right and there really is a lever....what if Webs and Dune are waiting for us? They cant stop all five of us." He said as he felt for a lever. Once he found it he pulled it making to where he could move the boulder.

"You did it!" Sunny said happily as soon as she saw the two dragonets. Clay looked at Frostburn seeing the female laying on the ground with her tail over her snout.

"Is she ok?" He asked and Starflight looked at her.

"Kestrel clawed her snout leaving a nasty cut so she is a bit shaken." He said and Clay nodded and walked to her where he sat beside her.

"Are those scrolls? Starflight. No." Tsunami said as she saw what the nightwing had in his bag.

"We might need them!" He retorted and Clay looked at him.

"Where's Glory?" He asked curiously.

"We're not sure." Starflight said only for Glory to appear beside Clay.

"Right here." Glory said surprising the mudwing. He happily wrapped hit tail with Glory's.

"Is have been fine on my own, you know." She said and he smiled.

"I know." He said looking from her to Frostburn.

"But thank you for doing insanely dangerous things for Frostburn and I anyways." She said with a smile. The happy moment ended as wing beats sounded in the cave. Making everyone look towards the entrance. Within seconds Clay and Tsunami recognized the dragon who had entered the cave.

"Hello again." Scarlet said with an evil smirk. Clay opened his wings covering his friends as other skywings landed behind the female.

"Oh no...." He said worried.

"You followed us here?" Tsunami asked unnerved and a bit aggravated. Scarlet scoffed and looked at her.

"I didnt have to. Someone sent up a lovely, helpful smoke signal for me. What a brilliant idea." She said and Sunny looked at her a bit confused.

"Who are you?" She asked and Frostburn got up to put her wing over the small sandwing. With a huff and a smile Scarlet stood on her hind legs while holding a claw against her armored chest.

"Now, really, this is getting insulting. You're in my territory. How dare you not recognize me?." She said then looked at the assortment of dragonets before her.

"Queen Scarlet of the skywings." He said as he bowed to her.

"You're a nightwing! How thrilling! I've never had a nightwing in my arena before. Tell m, what am i thinking right now. Too hard? I'll give you a hint. Why would a nightwing, a drawing, a mudwing, and.....whatever those three are...be hiding under my mountain. This wouldnt have anything to do with a certain prophecy would it?" She asked still smirking evilly as Dune walked into the cave.

"What's going on out here?" He asked then noticed Scarlet.

"Scarlet! Webs! Kestrel!" He yelled before charging as Kestrel. Before he could do anything the female grabbed his throat.

"Kestrel's here, too? What a fun reunion this is going to be." She said with venom in her tone. Glory's scales turned red as she looked at Clay.

"Go! Hide!" He said to the others and they shook their heads.

"Disappear while you try to die for us again? Not going to happen." Frostburn said and bumped his wing with her own.

"They're the dragonets of destiny! You have ro leave them alone!" Dune said making Scarlet snarl and tighten her grip on his throat.

"But what ig its my destiny to play with them?" She said then snapped his neck with a smile. Webs called out to the dead sandwing as his body hit the cave floor before charging at Scarlet himself only to be tackled by a guard.

"I always find the ones who betray me in the end. Isn't that right, Kestrel?" Scarlet said as the Skywing walked into the cave with a glare.

"You've got me now. Let these worthless dragonets go." She said coldly. Webs gave her a worried look knowing that Scarlet would only kill her.

"Why, Kestrel! Have you switched from disobeying orders to giving them?" Scarlet asked as she trotted towards Kestrel.

"I'll come with you. Just leave them alone." Was all that Kestrel replied now bing face to face with the queen of her tribe.

"Of course you'll come with me. We've got a thrilling trial planned, followed by an even more thrilling execution. And these little dragons....will be perfect for my arena. Take them!" She said and the guards began trying to capture the dragonet. As soon as Kestrel went down she looked at Webs.

"Webs! Run! Tell the talons!" She yelled before her snout was chained shut. Webs managed to slide away and slip into the river as most of the dragonets tried to fight their attackers.

"Get away from them!" Frostburn yelled before she bit his shoulder. Scarlet ordered a guard to wrap her snout. Frostburn struggled as her snout was wrapped feeling the now warm chains on her scales.

"Should we go after the drawing?" A guard asked as he stood by his queen.

"A seawing in a river? Hes gone, idiot." She said with a scornful look.

"We have all of the dragonets and Kestrel. Time to fly." She said then walked out her guards following her while pulling the dragonets behind them with chains.

Tsunami naturally struggled wanting to free herself and her friends. Clay pulled against his chains a few times but wanted to talk things out. Sunny kept nervously asking questions to the point of having her snout wrapped in chains. The final three were quiet for the trip to where ever the skywings were taking them.

Its a bit short but the next one should be longer and yes. I will be adding in a part where Frostburn fights in the arena as well.
