Kid Tony (Revamped)

Chapter 6 - Disappeared

After a lot of reassuring from the other team members, Tony felt confident again. He was currently with Clint and Thor in the living room, playing video games so he was entertained. Steve looked through all the cupboards and the fridge, sighing when he saw how empty they were.

"I can't make a good meal for the team with flour, eggs, milk, syrup and a jar of pickles." Steve says to himself.

"Jarvis, when's the next delivery to the tower?" Steve asked, wondering if they could wait a few hours for the delivery.

"I'm afraid the delivery has been delayed until tomorrow." Jarvis says, Steve sighing.

"That's just great..." Steve mumbled.

He wanted to cook something healthy. And he wanted Tony to have a good meal. But looks like it would have to be takeaway.

"Guys. I'm going to order takeaway, what do you want?" He asked as he walked in.

"Could we have burgers?" Tony asked as he looked at Steve.

"I don't think I can get that takeaway." Steve says.

Tony frowned a little and gave Steve puppy eyes.

"Please." Tony says.

"Don't worry Steve. I'll take him out to get a burger for himself." Bucky says as he walks in after sorting himself out with a shower.

"You sure?" Steve asked.

"Yeah I'm sure. I'm not recognised as an Avenger so there wouldn't be any sort of drama the press could cause." Bucky says.

"As long as you're comfortable with it, you can do it. I don't want to force you." Steve says.

"Alright Tony. We're going out to get burgers." Bucky says, seeing Tony smile.

"Yay!" Tony says and climbs off the couch, heading over to where the shoes were.

Bucky chuckled and headed with Tony to put his shoes on. Tony did have some trouble with his shoes but Bucky helped him with them. They headed out of the tower, Bucky holding Tony's hand so he didn't lose him. They were some weird stares since it was a rather scary super soldier (They didn't know that) and a small cute child holding hands and walking through the streets of New York.

"Where do you want to go? Burger King, Wendy's or McDonalds?" Bucky asked as he looked down at Tony.

"Hmm. McDonalds!" Tony cheers with a smile on his face.

"Alright, McDonalds it is." Bucky says with a chuckle and made sure they were heading the right direction.

Though Bucky got a weird feeling that they were being followed. He turned and looked behind them, not seeing anything suspicious. He turned back and saw that they were already there.

"I'll order you a burger happy meal so you get a toy as well." Bucky says as they enter.

"Yay! Thank you!" Tony says with a big smile on his face.

Bucky smiled and waited in line with Tony to get the meal. Once they got the meal, they left McDonalds so Tony could have it in the tower with everyone else.

"I wonder what toy I got." Tony says as they walk.

"I don't know. But you'll get one of the Avengers." Bucky says.

"Who are they?" Tony asked and Bucky sighed.

Did they really not tell him who they were?

"I'll tell you when we get back." Bucky says as they walk.

He suddenly got the weird feeling again when they passed an alleyway. He glanced down there and froze. He recognised that uniform of the man down the alleyway.

"What's wrong Bucky? Why have we stopped?" Tony asked, looking up at him.

Bucky crouched down to Tony's level.

"You're going to do as I say. There's a man in the alleyway that is very dangerous." Bucky says quietly so the man couldn't hear them.

"I need you to run back to the tower with this." Bucky says and hands Tony the happy meal.

"What about you?" Tony asked, looking worried.

"I will meet you there. Don't worry about me." Bucky says, giving Tony a reassuring smile.

That convinced Tony enough to start running back to the tower, if he knew where that was.

Bucky watched him run off and stood up, turning around to face the HYDRA agent in the alleyway. He glared at them as he entered the alleyway. A fight between the two broke out.

Bucky had gotten the Hydra agent pinned down.

"What do you want?" He snarled and glared at the agent, slamming him against the floor.

"We know about the child. You won't be able to protect him forever." The agent says before biting down on the cyanide capsule in his mouth, killing himself before Bucky could interrogate him further.

Bucky's eyes widened and he let go of the agent. He had left Tony to run to the tower on his own, not taking into account that there could be other Hydra agents after Tony. He quickly left the alleyway and ran towards the tower, hoping that Tony had gotten there as well. Once he had gotten there, he headed to the common area, only finding Steve there.

"Hey, you're back. I've ordered Chinese for us. But it hasn't come yet. Where is Tony?" Steve asked as he looked at Bucky.

"Hydra attacked. Well, one agent did. I told Tony to run back to the tower. Did he not get here?" Bucky questioned.

"I've not seen him. Jarvis didn't say anything either." Steve says, looking rather concerned.

"I shall inform you that small Sir is indeed not in the tower and has not come into proximity to it within the past couple of hours." Jarvis states.

"This is bad! What if Hydra have him?!" Steve shouts.
