Chapter 25 ~ On The Road Again

Karma's POV

2 Months Later

I looked up in awe, a large smile tugging at the corners of my lips. I stared in amazement at the tour bus that towered over me and seemed to stretch on for miles. Kade and Marcel ran past me, trampling up the steps like newborn puppies. Kade let out bursts of high pitched laughter as Marcel chased after her to explore their sleeping quarters.

"Isn't this exciting, babe?" Harry startled me from behind, placing a quick kiss on my left temple and lightly brushing his fingertips against my back. He hunched over, gripping two suitcases in each hand. "We're like a family again." He said, facing me while walking backwards towards the bus.

I just nodded, still speechless. I felt as if I was seeing the world for the first time. It's been so long since I've been able to see things up close. Now that Harry was back, the boys could carry on with their concerts. News stations are buzzing about Harry's return. We've managed to cover it up as if he was on a vacation that no one knew about. The boys even joined in saying they had no clue about his secret vacation.

Now, here we are as a family, touring the world on their On The Road Again 2015 Tour. I was more than excited to be spending time with everyone, but I had more than reason to be nervous.

As Louis's wife, Eleanor was permitted to come along. I have yet to meet her, but I fear that since I'm back, she'll expect me to take Louis away from her. From Kade's stories, Eleanor isn't the jealous type, but she certainly holds a grudge against her. I don't know if the both of will be able to deal with one another for almost the entire year.

The tension between Louis and Kade is thick enough to cut with a knife. Over the past few months, Kade's gotten quite attached to Harry, which I'm not complaining about. I just hope my presence doesn't complicate things or cause drama. There's no reason for competition. I belong to Harry and Eleanor belongs to Louis. For goodness sake, they share a child.

The fact that Drew hasn't shown his attractive yet nauseating face or bothered to pick up the phone should make me relieved, but it's just another reason to be fearful. I want Kade to have as little contact with her dad as possible without it being obvious. But the more he stays away, the more I know he has something big planned.

"That's the last of the bags." The compartments on the bottom of the bus closed with a soft click. Harry brushed off his hands, making small clapping noises. The other boys rustled about, talking to their significant others. Tanya bounced on the balls of her feet, intertwining hands with Liam and pecking his lips. Sadly, she can't join us, it's mating season and the pack is going to need every staff member on hand. Niall's girlfriend broke up with him for reasons unknown. He doesn't really open up to any of us anymore, which kind of stings a little. But, I'm sure he'll find his mate soon.

Eleanor stood farthest away with Alex in her hands. She seemed to be having a loud and aggressive conversation with Louis. Alex was being gesticulative and never seemed to have a calm moment. She looked quite uncomfortable in her attire; white leggings that were too big around the waist and a dark pink tank top, the straps dangling off her shoulder and laying in the crook of her elbow. Eleanor stood in very high heels that looked unstable. Her hair blew furiously in the wind, covering her eyes and only seeming to agitate her more. Louis raked a hand through his hair and waved Eleanor off, practically sprinting into the bus.

I walked over to Harry, curious. "What's wrong with that happy couple?" I whispered lowly, hoping Eleanor wouldn't take notice and already begin hating me.
