A Sinner's Secret

Chapter 11 ~ Unwelcome

Eleanor's POV

Today I had finally been released from the hospital and Louis seemed nervous like Alexandra was his first born. "Louis?"

He mumbled things I couldn't quite hear as he parked in the driveway. "Louis?" I repeated, but still no response. He pulled the keys out of their slot and went around to open my door. I got out, ready to pull the baby carrier out of the car, but he had already locked the car and started walking up to the front door.

"Louis!" I shouted, this time capturing his attention.

"What?" He asked, completely clueless. I gestured to the car door that opened to Alexandra's car seat. He looked back between me and the car, confused. It finally dawned on him that the baby was still in there and his mouth and eyes went wide. "Oh crap!"

He filed with the keys until he managed to unlock it. Shaking my head, I unlocked her carrier from the car seat and pulled her out of the car. "Why are you so nervous all of a sudden?" I asked with a giggle.

He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair he had grown out since he's so lazy to cut it. The only neat one in the band seems to be Zayn, or had been the neat one from the pictures Lou had shown me. Apparently they thought he was dead? But, I guess that wasn't true since I've heard his name being yelled countless times when Lou would argue with Kade. Now he's just kicked out of the band.

"I just don't want to mess this up. The drama has finally died down and I just want a calm environment to raise this baby in." He said, holding the door open.

Walking through the threshold, the heater ran, taking away the autumn chills. Something seemed unusual about the decorations. Simply because Kade surely wouldn't celebrate Alexandra's arrival.

"Surprise!"

Kade's friends, along with Louis's band mates, jumped out from their hiding spots, flipping on the lights to show their hard work off. Pink and white streamers were twirled and hung from various places on the walls. Balloons of every shade and color were blown up and scattered around the floor, and helium filled ones were either tied down or stuck somewhere on the ceiling.

An assortment of food was laid out on the table and counter, covering every square inch. It's a good thing, too because my cravings have yet to settle over. And a giant cake in the shape of a baby carriage sat splat in the center of the table with the words: 'Welcome Home Alexandra and Eleanor!' in pink frosting.

"Lads!" Louis taunted, hugging his band mates. "Did you put this all together?"

"With help from Andiana's touches." Liam said, gesturing to a young girl, who looked no older than Kade, holding a small baby in her arms.

"Congrats, Louis." A boy next to her, said. He looked exactly like Lou's dead band mate, Harry, but with more tattoos and unlike Harry, had piercings.

"Thanks, Ed. Thanks everyone, this is fantastic!" Louis rambled, as everyone started to converse.

"You weren't going to let a grandma go without holding her granddaughter, were you?"

I turned around after setting Alexandra on a clear space on the counter. My mum stood there with a giant smile on her face. "Mum! You're here!"

Kade's POV

I laid on my bed with my earbuds blaring some of Uncle Kellin's music playing from my phone. Apparently, they put him in solitary confinement, seeing he started acting out violently towards the guards. That's a load of bull, I say.
