After that scare everything just resumed to move smoothly through dinner, both of them enjoying the rest of the meal until their plates and bowls were empty. It almost surprised Midoriya over how much of an appetite Uraraka actually did have. He understood she was hungry over her stomach releasing an audible growl on the way to his house but, just how 'empty' was she? Nevertheless he was happy to be able to provide her with some type of meal considering how late it was. Speaking of the time, Uraraka took into account just how long her train ride was gonna be. The sun in the sky having begun to color the sky in reds and soft oranges was a big tell for Uraraka, having noticed this from a slightly opened window. Wiping her mouth before rising from her seat she respectfully spoke up once their little conversation slowly came to a close. "Thank you very much for the dinner Mrs. Midoriya. I really enjoyed your cooking! I would like to stay longer but I have to get to the train before It gets to dark." She spoke with a light smile before bowing her head.
"Oh, alright dear, thank you so much for coming! Let me get you a ventra two way pass okay? I took a few from the store so you don't have to worry about looking for change." Inko smiled lightly raising from her seat as she had headed right upstairs to get it. Midoriya's nervous smile presented itself as he had been alone with the Uraraka again. He got a plastic bag just to make it easier to carry the bigger bag of Creme bread before he approached her again. "I'll walk with you to the train station, there's one closer around this neighborhood than by my school." He had stood going to grab his sweater off the chair before putting it on. "I really hope this wasn't too uncomfortable for you or anything, I just... I need to tell her what happened, but on my own time." He had spoke in a softened tone as he had placed the bag in the brunettes hand.
"It's okay, I kind of figured that was the case. I don't think it's something to talk about with company over anyways." She nodded in understanding as she lightly rubbed the back of her neck in thought. "I hope things go well when you do decide to tell her... If you even do at all." She sighed before silencing herself among Inko appearing once again to hand her the flat paper pass. "I hope your trip home is safe, you can come over anytime." Inko had softly smiled at her, glad to see Midoriya actually had been talking to someone, even if they were from a different school districts entirely. Again, she knew when her son was telling the truth.
She knew him and Katsuki didn't actually get along like they used to... She just didn't know to what extent that knowledge was true.
__________________________________________Both Uraraka and Midoriya had walked out to the train station, mainly in silence as they both had internally tried to gather their words together properly. Uraraka herself hadn't known why she herself was still worried about the male. A part of her wanted to blame it on the factor of him still being suicidal but another wanted to blame it on the fact that he probably still believed he didn't have any use in the world... Why was that thought process imbedded so deeply into his mind? "I know you continue to insist you don't need anymore but, I'm still planning to give you a cake to repay you." He spoke up making the girl just barely flinch among his seemingly tired tone.
"I wanted to ask what school you exactly go to since I don't really have a phone of my own to call you about a cake delivery. The buns are only a temporary sweet before I get you an actual cake replacement." He sighed quietly looking over at the girl, barely straightening out his posture as they walked together. He really was just so sincere and that softened the girls resistant answer. She started to get the feel that no matter what she said, it was gonna end up happening. She sighed and just decided to respond with, "I'll actually come back around here to pick it up, maybe even pay you a visit while I'm at it."
Hearing that just caught him by surprise, barely gaining a blush over her response as he looked relieved and happy over her words. That's exactly what she wanted to see again, his happy face. She had stopped and turned to him the moment they were at the silver gate of the train station. She had a few more minutes to talk to him so she'd make it last. "I want you to know that you really don't owe anything to me and that the only reason I'm accepting this cake is because your so persistent about repaying me... The only way your going to get me to really accept this cake is if you promise me something."
Midoriya stared expectantly, just slightly loosing his smile among the terms she was gonna bring up. He expected it to be something related to his suicide but, it was actually a better promise than he had initially thought. "I want you to try and enter the UA course, even if you have some doubts about getting in. I know you think that being quirkless is a major point holding you back in being a hero and, I'm telling you right now, I believe you can change that." The girl spoke with clear determination and belief in her statement. "A support hero doesn't need a quirk to be great at what they do... I really think you should look into mechanics, or even learning about technology to get you there.
You already have so many ideas and analysis on hero's, I just know with that in mind you'll be able to help so many people."
Does she really care that much?..
Is this genuine?
Midoriya didn't even realize he was tearing up until he became aware of the feeling of his own heart sinking in his chest. He believed for once someone had actually believed in him despite the lack of any real power. Someone had told him exactly what he had wanted to hear for so long.
"You can become a hero Midoriya! You just need to try."
Having bit his lip he wiped his eyes before he even had the chance to cry infront of her, slowly bringing his head down in a bow. "Thank you so much Uraraka-san... You really have no idea how much help you have been to me today." He bit back the shakiness in his tone raising his head as he had stared into hers, softly breathing out, "I truly owe my life to you."
Uraraka had became his first friend ever since Bakugou and she wasn't even the slightest bit like how he was now... He didn't feel hatred or like a nuisance, he genuinely felt wanted. Even if it was a friendly related interaction and not really a romantic one, he didn't care. He heavily appreciated this day and later on, it would definitely prove to be something he'd never forget.

The two would say their good nights and goodbyes before going to their respective homes. Midoriya would be up late that night at his desk writing her a thank you letter to add with the cake he planned to buy for her, making sure the note was neatly written and it sounded just as sincere as he really was. Despite how happy he had been currently, he had no idea what would be awaiting him the following day. Other than a sludge monster incident, bringing a student from Aldera Junior High close to death, a anonymous hero would be recorded saving another student from said very same school.
