Midoriya and Uraraka would trail to the kitchen with her mom, already starting up a friendly chat as the woman got ready to cook. Hiku would put her hair up out of her face as she tied a small apron around her hips. Uraraka knowing her mom would try to stop her, actually wanting her to join the conversation instead of focusing on being a good hostess. "Mom we came really early, you don't have to start cooking yet." "I wouldn't want you to start just because I'm here." Midoriya added on, pressing his hands down in his lap as Hiku smiled at them.

"Okay then, let's have a chat, at least until it is time to make dinner." Hiku would hum, going to take a seat at the table Infront of the two. Happy to have her mother sit down, Uraraka would start the conversation casually.
"How was your day today?" The mother would release a soft sigh and smile at the question, going on to explain, "So far it's been busy. I just finished doing my calls and making sure to send out money for the bills." She spoke in memory before raising her head. "I also got some groceries today, they have all these odd sales going on today." She spoke in thought before gazing between her daughter and Midoriya.

"What were you two kids up to today?" She'd ask, more curious about what they truly did over at his house. Midoriya gave an embarrassed laugh before answering, "Mainly just discussing whether or not I should pose as  'Midori'." He jokingly explained the situation. Hiku's mouth fell open before forming a smile of disbelief as she looked over at her daughter.  "Ochako, did you really discuss that?" She laughed a bit at the thought, covering her mouth with her hand as she did so.

Uraraka returned an embarrassed laugh, shooing her mom away with her hand. "Yeah we did.. I was nervous, okay?" she spoke in defense, feeling her face burn over her mother's reaction. After a moment of this giggling session, the mother would go on to joke, "Well we have time to make you a Midori if you want to attempt to hide the truth, I won't tell." Midoriya's face burned as he nervously ran a hand through his hair. "How is this subject just comfortable with both of you?" He asked a little deflated, dismissing his embarrassment as he dragged his hand out of his hair. "I wouldn't make a pretty girl anyways."

"She was just teasing. We wouldn't make you lie like that. Especially when it's just my dumb worries." She'd speak dismissively, giving him a slight smile as she'd nudge his knee with her own. The soft gesture reassured him enough to smile, her mom just smiling over the interaction. "Her dad's not bad at all: he's just a little protective. All father's are like that." Hiku attempted to reassure the boy further but Midoriya just blinked at the mention. It wasn't like he'd exactly know if that was true or not. At most he had Bakugou's father as an example, but he tended to be the even middle. Mitsuki seemed far more protective than Masaru, even if she hits him alot.

Deciding to shake off the dad thought, he'd just nod in agreement. "I guess that is true." He'd just barely smile as he scratched his cheek. "But why did you lie to your father in the first place?" Midoriya couldn't help but ask since the topic was on the table anyways.  Uraraka gave an embarrassed sigh as she rubbed the back of her neck. "The only reason I lied was because it was late and I kind of felt like I got caught... N-not that we were doing anything wrong!" she reassured quickly knowing her wording could've been implying they were doing something bad.

The mom would hum as her gaze shifted away from her daughter and back to Midoriya. Maybe he wasn't exactly as clean as she thought. A sense of protectiveness washed over her, shutting her eyes as a smile spread across her face. "What have you been doing with my daughter?" she'd ask the boy directly, the aura she held prior seemed to be changed completely. Midoriya, though tense, would have no problem explaining what they had been doing.

"We've been training together despite learning differently. Even though I'm learning engineering, she checks on my wiring to see if anything looks off. When it comes to her physical training, I help her by seeing how she is trying to pace herself. I give her an analysis on how she trains and try to help her build more of a tolerance. We spar and even though I don't really have much muscle, I'm still technically an opponent against her. She's been growing on quickening her moves, and not accidentally floating me into the sky. I think we've been learning pretty well together…" He explained the slightest bit worried about his explanation, wondering if he was rambling or not with how both of them kind of stared.

Uraraka slowly nodded in agreement watching as the woman's face had just shifted, not really giving much of a readable reaction at first. "I've never really heard of someone willingly wanting to be part of that course; that's pretty nice to hear." She spoke after a moment of thinking.

"He's doing his absolute best! Besides, without support heroes how would we have some of the greater typical functioning ones?" Uraraka would speak in praise, very proud of her friend. She wasn't sure how to take her mother's comment though, she still tried to keep the atmosphere positive. "Some heroes just need more practice, support items are just to show off." Her mother stated her personal opinion, not exactly aware of Midoriya's full situation. "With age people just get weaker."

"I guess that can be true for some but support items can definitely enhance people's strengths no matter there power." Uraraka would say doing her best to defend the situation. Midoriya would open his mouth to speak but the mother yet again responded. "Really dear? Do you know any hero's specifically?" She asked genuinely curiously, making Midoriya just nervously fidget with the loose thread in his pocket. He wanted to speak out to tell her All Might actually had a support item at one point, but she wasn't asking him this question. He didn't want to speak out of turn.

Uraraka took a moment to think, wanting to make a valid point and stand up for Midoriya's option that he chose and she heavily suggested to him. After about a solid 30 seconds she said, "I can't think of any offhand but, I know there's plenty. I think All Might had a support item at one point too!" she spoke trying to remember from Izukus' ramblings. His eyes widened just slightly over her remembering that factor, he just started to think she tuned out his rambles like everyone else did. While it did make a bit of happiness fill his chest, he went to change the subject with the mention of his mom.

"I-It surprised me to meet someone else with a quirk similar to my moms'!... My mom is only able to really attract small things but it still seems close." He nervously hummed just going to remove his hands from him pockets to place them on the table again. "Did she also get her power from you? I can see where she gets her looks from." He'd joke earning a good laugh from the mom. "Oh no, she didn't get the quirk from me or her father. She got it from her late grandmother."

And like that they continued to talk about miscellaneous things, Uraraka actually feeling reassured that her mother was starting to enjoy Midoriya's company.

She just hoped she could say the same for her father.
