(for the sake of this chapter, Uraraka's mom's name is gonna be Hiku and her father's name is gonna be Osu just because we don't know their real names in the manga)
The living room didn't really display much, just a small couch with an old television set. It was bulky in comparison to the flat screen Midoriya had at home, The stand that held it looked old but well used. The kitchen that the living room led into looked just the same, having granite countertops that connected to an empty steel sink. The drying rack held a few dishes that had mismatched plates but all the cups it held were glass. None of this bothered Midoriya, he wasn't one to judge anyone else's living situation. He just thought her home had its own little charm regardless of comparison.
"Sorry if my house isn't much."
"Why are you apologizing? It's fine." He blinked, a bit perplexed over her apology not being able to help himself when he looked around a bit more. He's only ever been over to Bakugou's house so of course he was curious. Bakugou's home was larger than her home, but he knew that her lifestyle was different from his. Uraraka just smiled nervously, fidgeting with her shirt seeing izuku exploring her living room and kitchen. She couldn't really tell what was going through his head as he trailed through her kitchen. Usually a mumble would've left his lips but he hadn't said a word.
His silence was a little worrying to her, he was making her feel like it was some type of home inspection. She was hoping to see a shift in his facial expression, but it stayed in a neutral line as he continued to walk around. With his absent minded curiosity controlling his movements, she pulled him by his wrist to bring him back to the living room."Y-You can go ahead and take a seat I'll be back to get my parents if they're here." she spoke up as she turned a corner, having just shook off her anxious behavior. It was just Izuku, she didn't have to worry about his judgement.
_______________________________Midoriya went ahead to take a seat on the couch as directed, rubbing his palms against his knees trying to focus. His face just softly colored in a pink tint as his hair poofed out yet again. Making a good impression by not rambling off about things was gonna be difficult. Uraraka had been such a good guest at his home and his mom always got excited whenever she came over. He wanted to have that same impact on Uraraka's parents, or atleast something like that. If he wanted to continue seeing her as much as he has been, he really had to do his best here.
Sighing he ran a hand against the back of his neck, letting his head fall against the back of the couch. Yet again, he had softly combed his hands through his hair to try and get it back to it's standard curls. He hoped that even though he was a boy her parents wouldn't have a problem with them being friends. She was a great part of his life right now, and he didn't want to lose that friendship between them.
________________Uraraka had paced in the hallway Infront of her mother's door a few times, having practiced how she was gonna explain the Midori situation. She knew that her mother of course wouldn't mind her having a friend over, though she knew she'd be teased for having a boy-friend over. Her dad was going to be a whole other situation, but she'd have to survive her mom's teasing to see that through. Turning the door knob she'd
pop her head into her mother's room just to see the woman already close to the door with a smile. Her presence startled her, having let out a cut off squeal as her mother yanked her forward into the room, smothering her daughter with a tight hug."Welcome home, it's been awhile since I've seen you." The mother had teased but it was in a good hearted manner instead of a harsh one. She knew about the plans her father arranged with meeting this 'friend' she kept hanging out with all the time, so she actually had stayed home to see if they'd show up early. "Sorry mama.." The brunette would speak, having been muffled by her mother's clothed shoulder. Pulling away, her mother would rest her hands on her shoulders to get a good look at her, a curious smile planting on her lips.
"So... Where are they?"
"In the living room..."
Uraraka frowned a bit as she spoke, just feeling her anxiety cause her stomach to twist. The mother would hum over her reaction, her smile not faltering in the slightest. She felt her daughter had been lying about something, with this tense behavior she took a guess that nearly killed the girl...
"It's a boy, isn't it?"
Hiku knew her daughter well enough to understand that her sinking to the ground with a whine was a confirmation. She couldn't help but chuckle squatting down to pat the back of her defeated teenager, "Are you sure you brought a 'friend' sweetie?" She would already tease Ochako, making her face burn beet red."I know I was wrong for lying but I was nervous!" Uraraka spoke quickly in shame, Hiku having brought her back up to her feet to look down at her properly. "Well let's see who's the reason for this nervous behavior."

Midoriya would lower his hand from the back of his neck and rise from the couch at the sight of the two, his hair thankfully being more in order as he bowed his head. "It's very nice to meet you Mrs. Uraraka, your home is very nice." He greeted just trying to be kind, and of course it was appreciated. "It's very nice to meet you too 'Midori'. You're the one that's been holding my daughter back from home huh?" The mother would hum, going to grab his hand to shake instead of bowing back. "Ah yes, I'm very sorry about that. I didn't mean to intrude on any family time when I hung out with her... My name is actually Midoriya." Obviously Izuku was quick to apologize which just made Hiku smile looking back at her daughter.
"Aww, you caught a cute boy sweetie! He is very proper." She spoke in praise which just made Midoriya get even more embarrassed being talked about in the third person. Ochako was blushing a bit herself, just lightly smiling to try and reassure the boy before her. "I know." She spoke unsure of what else to say, making him gaze at her for a moment before averting just as quickly. Even the mother could tell from that alone that she didn't have anything to worry about regarding him.
(Sorry for the short chapter. Going to try and get back into writing again. My apologies 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️)
