The brunette wasn't necessarily anything special. Shes average in most aspects of her life, having been an only child with both her parents present in her life. She was fortunate in small ways with her caring support system in her life, making her appreciative of what she got out of experiences they couldn't always afford. She was raised well and had not grown bitter to those around her just for the sake of the small problems going on at home. She was just a girl who had a solid work ethic along with a kind heart. That kind of thing is often hard to find in people today and that's just what her friends valued about her. This attitude of her's led to one of her friends from school telling her about a sale near the other school.

"Over by that Aldera Junior High, I heard they were having a sale on sweets! You like those cakes and mochi sales don't you Rara?"

Normally she wouldn't really care about the mention of a sale because she was always a dollar or two short anyways but, this time she had more than enough money saved up. With her mom's birthday coming up she had wanted to get her something special, maybe a cake would be that special something? Why not take the opportunity while it was still available? An actual birthday cake with lit candles and sweet frosting...  She would be really happy. It'll be worth the trip.

Even if it was small one, she was gonna make sure she got one for her birthday. She missed having those cake for breakfast mornings with her mom like they used to when she was younger. It'd be a cute little moment to reminisce on with her, while they got to celebrate her surviving another year.

Taking the hour and a half walk after school she eventually got to the shop her friend had told her about, sighing quietly at the sale mention among the shop windows. That was great, their genuinely was a sale going on and she had enough for a single little cake. It had been chocolate with whipped pastel blue frosting with pink frosted flowers on it... It looked so pretty like those early days of April when the cherry blossoms would bloom. The candles she also got didn't look as pretty but, she knew her mom would appreciate her effort nonetheless.

She carefully carried the bag at her side as she sighed quietly, happy at the success she felt within her chest. this would be considered her win for today and that's just how things were supposed to continue... She was supposed to go home with her cake and not really come back to this side of town again but, unfortunately, she just felt a nervous feeling set in her stomach. She couldn't exactly comprehend why but as she squinting at the school she started to understand the atmosphere.

Was there a person on the roof? Where was the fence for the high perimeter?

That made her more nervous and something told her to start speeding up her walk towards the school.

Surely it was just one of those kids that hung around the building right? They weren't gonna do anything... they were okay.

Just as she barely got passed the corner of the building, she saw the boy who had sat on the ledge more clearly, and her stomach dropped the moment she saw him purposely lean forward.

It was as if it was slow motion, no one else seemed to be around.. with how tall the school building was the kid was going to die! Going into a full sprint with the dessert box in hand she quickly got herself to the spot the falling boy would land, hesitating on what to do with the box before just throwing it in the air and reaching her hands out for him.

knowing her quirk, surely she could stop his fall right? if her quirk failed her at least she would soften his fall... right?

She was panicked for him as the  pressure of his body touched her hands, taking a millisecond for her quirk to activate, leaving her wrists to lean back a little more than she probably expected them to. Though, in the current moment she couldn't even focus if it did hurt or not. She was just left with a look of shock and concern for him. From the pressure of the boys weight her stomach had flipped once again. Just lovely, her quirks default punishment pushing through, though this time she could admit she didn't regret her limit breaking. Bringing her hands together slowly and a tad shakily so he could have his feet on the ground properly she went to throw up looking the opposite way not to vomit on the kid she just saved.

How embarrassing! Though she doubted that would matter to this kid right now. He was probably surprised he was alive. Closing her eyes tight when she puked she tried to remember what she ate that day as she heaved. An apple a classmate gave her today that they didn't want was the only thing in her system thankfully. Still, the way she sounded made it seem like it was a lot more than it actually was. She couldn't even turn around to look at the boy and that just seemed to be the best right about now.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry! Are you alright!?" He would ask while he patted and rubbed her back. The audacity he had to ask about her well being when he was just about to kill himself moments ago... Just what went wrong with his day to make him resort to this? That voice of his sounded so kind and caring so... What reason would he even have?

Maintaining some sort of stance she would shakily exhale before straighting up, turning towards him slowly as she would wipe her mouth clean.

"I really should be asking you that question, are you okay?"
