Midoriya had been far less attentive in class since the whole call out incident. It was hard to focus with all the sudden changed nature around him, it was like he was being made into some kind of spectacle. There were suicide awareness posters taped to the once flat colored walls, the guidance counselor had tried to set up meetings with him despite his continuous light refusal to talk, he was receiving more empty sounding lip services from his peers, and now the teachers felt the need to check in on him more.

Trying to keep his mom from seeing the news was hard enough. What was he gonna do if the school decided to call his mother to address things further? Not even Bakugou had uttered a word to him since things happened, was he playing a part in it too? It wasn't typical for the blonde to not even spare him a glance or a taunt of some sort, was he reprimanded for being one of his main intimidators? He hadn't confronted him yet about it if that was the case...

Izuku sighed as he dragged his fingers through his hair, lowering his head down to his desk momentarily. He needed to pull himself away from the unnecessary anxiety he was causing himself. Letting things get to him is exactly what ended himself in this situation anyways. "My works finished, I might as well go back to this wire test." He murmured to himself.

Ochako had made her way to the Midoriya residence after her school day was finally over. She was looking forward to seeing the boy again, wondering what had made him so excited to leave as many text messages as he did. Not one of them explained his excitement, but she was just happy for all the little text emoticon faces he sent.

'My fingers hurt :,)'

Knocking on the door she was instantly greeted by Midoriya, who's smile was just as bright as ever. "Hey! Hope you didn't feel the need to rush here with all the dumb things I was sending. I was just making sure the text feature was working... Without wifi." He sighed evidently embarassed making the girl laugh. "I forgot to turn the mobile data on so that's why all those messages came rapidly once I got connected to my home wifi--- but I finally have fixed this phone I've been practicing on!"

The girl matched his energy immediately, giving him a light clap of approval. "That's super exciting Midoriya! You've only been learning about this for like 3 months, and now you can get a mini computer to work." she patted him on the shoulder. She took the phone from him, seeing how it's basic mechanic was fully functioning properly. No glitches, no delay, not anything a damaged phone could properly accomplish.

"My fingers got a little burned In class when I finally got it in working order. Electricity and me are not meant to be friends." He would sigh looking down at his reddened fingertips, wincing as he acknowledged the throbbing of his tips. "Speaking of which, I think I'm gonna bandage them up now." He'd nervously laugh before excusing himself, having forgotten all about it with the adrenaline -and electricity- that coursed through his body.

She nodded gently as she watched him leave, shaking her head as she felt all fuzzy due to his happiness. Out of all his awkward rambles and small fidgetting habits she just couldn't help but adore his smile. "That dummy." She chuckled quietly as she scrolled down the long list of text emoticon messages.

'Hi Ochako, it's Midoriya ^^!'

'Felt the need to clarify, this isn't my number :-\'

'Whoever owned this phone before loved adding a bunch of faces to their texts :) I think it's neat :D'

'Im confused about this one though, :-*'

' Put your money where your mouth is?... I think that's what this one means :-$'

'I feel old not knowing a few of these =_='

As the male came back with bandaged fingers, the girl made sure to clear her throat of laughter as she brought her attention back up to him. "You ready for training today?" He questioned as he got a bag set up for them, the girl taking a second to rummage through her own bookbag. "Of course I am!" She'd nod, pulling something out from her bag before placing something onto the back of the now fixed phone.

Midoriya watched as she worked, growing perplexed as he prepped their bag with snacks and ice cold water bottles. "What are you doing?" "You'll see." She spoke dismissively, taking out a thin black sharpie. Upon seeing the marker come in contact with the phone he couldn't help but become alarmed. "Uraraka-" "Wait don't look yet!" She laughed moving away, holding one hand out to press him back by his chest.

When he was finally allowed to look at her acts of 'graffiti' he saw that she just put a little sticker on his phone case. A little broccoli sticker... that she drew freckles on...

That is so damn cute!

Midoriya felt his heart squeeze at the sight, his cheeks flushing as he clutched a hand over his heart. Despite it being such a small wholesome act it made his heart flutter. She really had a power over him like no other. Ochako would furrow her brows over his reaction, elbowing him in the side
"What? You thought I'd try to destroy your work or something?"

"No! Nothing like that at all!" He waved his hands worriedly before deflating at her laugh. "To be fair I didn't know what you were doing." He defended himself, looking at the sticker closer as he took the phone back into his hold. "My friend gave me stickers today and this one reminded me of you, so now your phone can match you" she mused with a bright smile.

"Hah... A broccoli. Can only imagine why that vegetable would remind you of me." He smiled back at her, still deciding if he should be either flattered or discouraged. A vegetable isn't exactly the worse thing he has been compared to. Nonetheless, he smiled while swinging his bag over his shoulder. "I'll try to make sure it stays in good condition then."

"it's not just a normal broccoli Midoriya, it's a cute one." she defended not truly thinking about how that would sound to him. "I can hold the bag if you want me to?" she offered, looking over the sight of his white bandaged fingers. Though, as expected, he refused the assistance shaking his head. "It's okay I can hold it." His face proceeded to grow redder over the girl's continuous acts. It was almost overkill on his weak heart.

With that moment out of the way, they headed out to their normal training place.
