Episode 5

The strange thoughts replayed in Arthur's head as he tried to figure out what had happened to him. Arthur didn't know how to explain the sound he heard or his strange dreams that he's been avoiding for the past few days. Little did he know his life was going to get more interesting .

Kate kept asking about his fall and he knew he had to say something

" Kate I don't Know what happened I just heard a strange noise and I fell."

She looked at Arthur as if he was insane but she felt a negative presence as she continues

"Arthur what noise? Damon and I didn't hear anything besides you falling!".

Arthur felt a bit confused, something felt strange. This left him wondering. That very evening, the doctor had discharged Arthur. He was okay to go home; he was happy to leave the hospital . On their way home, Damon was driving when he noticed a reflecting light in the side mirror it appeared to be a blue string of light that's been following them. It had the motion of moving water and it seemed peaceful and calm. For a second he thought he was going crazy.

"hey guys did you see that?"

Kate and Arthur was sceptical and started looking around the car as it moves but didn't noticed anything. Arthur grew more confused as he questioned Damon's strange behaviour

"What did you see? There's nothing back there."

Damon gripped the steering wheel as he drove when he said in a confused tone

"I felt like I saw something."

Kate felt as though something was happening but it didn't seem suspicious or dangerous at the time. She told Damon that his mind was playing tricks since he didn't get much sleep. Damon intended forget about it and continued to drive. Along the way, Kate noticed that Arthur was a bit uneasy. He looked worried and a bit stressed. This was unlike Arthur to be stressed out.

She was uncertain if she should question him or not. Once they were home, Kate decided to make Arthur comfortable. She made him a hot cup of chai tea and She ordered him to sit and put his feet up. Arthur was a bit stubborn but he could never say no to Kate. He sat on the sofa and started explaining what had happened early that morning. Damon was a bit worried but Kate couldn't care less, since it was late at night. All she wanted was a goodnight sleep.

"Guys I love you both but I'm tired I'm going to bed good night."

Both Damon and Arthur wished her a goodnight as they relaxed on the sofa after a long day.

Arthur and Damon remained in the living room as they shared thier strange encounters during the day and while driving. Arthur was starting to think this was something important and they needed to pay close attention to the mysterious signs. He was confused as they spoke,

"I'm sure whatever happened today there's a perfect reason for it just need to put my finger on it!"

said Arthur in curiosity. Even Damon felt it was a very weird situation

"Its just so complicated, maybe we should get some rest and just sleep on it hopefully all of this would make sense soon enough. Good night bro."

Damon decided to go to bed but Arthur couldn't sleep, so he decided to go to his office. As the curiosity filled his wondering mind, he sat in his office chair downstairs as he rummage across a bunch of books and old scrolls that his grandfather once had. It brought back a lot of discarded memories for him.

The memories brought a smile to Arthur's face but also broke his heart, while going through the books, he found an old photograph of his parents, Emma and Greg Thompson. As he looked at the photo, he began to feel a bit emotional and he started to shed tears. It slowly ran down his face as he remembered his parents. This was something that held Arthur down from allowing anyone to understand his emotions. He misses them dearly, as he reads through one of his father's journals. Greg would write journals of his previous trips and adventures since he was an archeologist. All his life's work was left for Arthur his only son.
