Arthur kept thinking about Kiara’s condition. To Arthur kiara was special, for some reason he can't stop thinking about her. Little did he understand that this was going to be a problem.
Arthur kept thinking that his magic was just a quick fix. He looked at the string around his risk and wondered if he took it off what would happen. Arthur pulled on the string, which made kiara feel pain. Arthur noticed everytime he pulled the string kiara would faint or get hurt. He suddenly realised that he was holding her life in his hands.
Arthur was learning so much about her condition but he was also scared. He was responsible for her life. He had no idea how to explain this to her father William. Arthur was frustrated and the stress grew in his mind as he think of ways to fix this problem.
He wanted to permanently make her well again, so they can move on and search for the card. For he didn't know kiara was the key. Arthur knew magic had its consequences and it can be dangerous if not handled properly. He wanted to be certain before doing something he regretted.
William saw how desperate and miserable Arthur was. He decided to question his determination and what Arthur was looking for.
"You look worried. What seems to be the matter?"
Said William in a concerned manner, Arthur looked at William and felt the comfort to speak.
"Its just, I wish I knew how to cure her."
Arthur spoke the words of his worried mind as William questioned him about their journey.
"Where are you going son?, what is it that you are so eager to find?"
Arthur felt comfortable as he spoke to William and he responded without hesitation.
"We're looking for something call the card of SPADE."
Arthur mentioned a few things to William but only one word caught his attention, "Spade".
William told Arthur that he might have the answer he’s searching for. Curious and ambitious Arthur continues to listen. William took Arthur the library and pulled out a long rolled up map from the shelf off the library wall. Williams wife Donna had kept it for many years. Donna wasn’t just a doctor, she loved to explore and she expeditioned to many indigenous sources looking for medicine that cure cancer. This shocked Arthur and he wondered to himself what was the connection.
There was one expedition, she came back from and she mentioned the word “spade”. Her discovery was extremely extraordinary, as he showed Arthur the map he told Arthur that the indigenous tribe people who lived there protect something called the Spade of light.
Arthur was mesmerized by the map alone but he also realised something was missing. The map had a strange arrow that pointed in a different direction. Both Arthur and William were confused. Little did they know something was hidden in the walls of the library. Donna was an extraordinary woman and her eyes saw what nobody else could have seen.
Donna had hidden the exact location of the card in the walls of the library. Arthur found it rather strange that there wasn’t any longitude and latitude.
It was full of unusual components, it looked like a map of the library itself. Arthur started figuring out Donna’s hidden secrets, which made William wonder. All Donna’s research meant something and it was important to Arthur. William followed Arthur around the library hoping to see what Donna had hidden.
Arthur started looking around for any markings or clues that Donna might have left behind, while William search through his enormous collection of ancient Greek books and mythical scrolls. William didn't know much but he knew that maybe his collection would come in handy. He gathered all his servants to help search the library for whatever answers they can find of magic source.
It was Arthur’s determination that had given William hope to believe in magicians. Their search turned into a numerous amount of hours, which turned into days looking for answers.
A week had past, William and Arthur found nothing, they kept hoping for something unusual.
Tired and confused, Arthur didn't want to give up. There has to be a reason Donna left the map. Even Damon, kate, Jake and Akira all joined in to help. This brought everyone closer together.
Arthur and Kate were the only ones who seem distant. Even though Arthur had forgotten what kate said she was confused as to why he was still upset.
Their relationship was falling apart slowly and it opened alot of opportunity for Jake to intervene.
"Hey. You okay?"
Said Jake in a calm tone as looked at Kate searching through the books. She seemed upset as she said
"I just wish I knew why?"
Jake was a bit confused but he suddenly realised that their was a problem between Arthur and kate.
"Are you guys okay?"
Said Jake as he wished to continue the conversation but Kate, bent her head and took a deep exhale as she responded.
"Not exactly, but we'll be just fine, thanks."
Kate walked away and began searching in another shelf.
Arthur was so caught up in his search, that he didn’t notice Kate spent most of her time alone.
Finally Arthur came to the last book in the library which had seemed stuck to the shelf. He tried pulling as hard as he could but ended up losing his balance and fell off the library ladder.
Hilarious as it looked, William and the others rush to his aid hoping he’d be okay. Surprisingly he didn’t have a scratch on him. Arthur wasn't worried about himself but the string on his hand seemed much more important.
Arthur somehow laughed it off and went back up ladder. While trying to get the stubborn book from the shelf, he stumbled upon a small compartment that he broke trying to retrieve the book. He noticed the compartment was hidden in the wall it self and he wondered if this could be what they were searching for.
Arthur looked at William and they were worried as to what this is.
