Blue Diamond

episode 17

Kiara was confused and she wanted to know what was happening to her.
She demanded an answer from Arthur, only he was unsure as well.

They were all clueless, as they all stood still in disbelief. Kiara didn't seem to trust anyone and so did Jake. This bothered everyone and it was visible that they were hiding something.

They all looked around the room and noticed the damage, luckily no one was seriously injured or hurt, but Arthur. Noah was shocked and frozen in fear.
He felt as though his home was destroyed and his trust in the magicians was broken. Regardless of what he witnessed, Noah threw the magicians out immediately.

"I dont know what happened here, but you all must leave right now!"

They tried to reason with Noah to fix the damage but he was to scared to even listen.

Finally they got back on the road and Arthur couldn’t stop thinking about what had happened. He kept staring at his injuries and it baffles his mind that kiara meant something important but what could this be. Arthur felt it was necessary to convinced Kiara to trust him enough to tell him the truth.

This was indeed not the right moment. They drove until Arthur noticed Jake's car slowing down. Looking through the rear-view mirror in the car, Arthur noticed Jake had stopped. He decided to pull over and go back. Kiara’s condition had seem to be getting worse.

She was ice cold and she appeared to be shivering. Akira and Kate suggested they took her to a hospital but Jake was being stubborn, which eventually lead to a heated argument on the side of the road. Arthur got angry and said

“She needs a hospital and you’re making an issue about it, what’s so freaking important that you can't tell us?”

Jake looked at Arthur and responded with anger as he spoke

"This is something you won't understand!"

Concerned and worried Arthur then said

"If you do not tell us how will we know? How can we help her Jake?"

Jake knew deep down inside that Arthur was the only one who can help and he had no other option but to allow them to take her to the hospital.

 They took her to the nearest hospital and all of the doctors were very much confused. They were uncertain about her condition and was unsure about how to treat her. One of the doctors told Arthur that this wasn’t something a doctor couldn’t fix but there’s an old man name Chief.

He’s no doctor but his medication was very impressive. He worked miracles with his natural herbs. Arthur was angry but his only option was to find the card as quickly as he can.

They left the hospital, silence and fear filled Arthur's mind as he kept thinking of ways to cure kiara. Jake was worried but he had to find a will to trust Arthur yet it was difficult since his profession was always to protect his sister.

They entered the rainforest, with faith but thier luck was about to change. Little did they know their friendship was being tested. They took a wrong turn that lead them to a dead end. In Damon's mind this seemed like another opportunity for an argument but Arthur  was exhausted and decided to let it be.

They looked around and saw nothing but a quiet stream and trees everywhere. They had to hike up the mountain and through the thick bushes so, they prepared themselves for anything; for they all knew that this was a dangerous trip.

While walking through the forest, they all seem scared and alert. Kiara had no idea what to expect she was amused by everything she saw. Her eyes caught the attention of a little blue bird that was seemed interested in her blue hands. She was so amused by the bird that she wasn't paying attention. She stumbled upon a log and fell. Jake immediately turned around and went back to pick her up.

She ended up standing on her own and dusted her self off. Arthur looked at her to make sure she was okay. Suddenly Arthur heard the cracking sound of a twig and said

“shh, I think I heard something!”

Lurking between the trees, watching every move they made. The sound of the bushes rattled around them. They all stood in fear waiting for something to emerge out the bushes. Arthur then whispered softly

"shh listen its getting closer!"

They formed a circle around the girls and was ready to attack. Using nothing but magic and since Jake was a militant, he depended on his strength of his fist. The closer it got the more scared they got. Out of nowhere a spare flew out of the bushes stucking Arthur on his left arm, throwing him to the ground.

The moment Arthur fell, a huge shockwave as released like a shield protecting him from the flying blade. This Alerted the others to attack. Using magic smoke, they created a blind battle ground. Weapons of steel knives and blades were flying  everywhere. This was a moment of trust and they all failed. Jake didn't trust Arthur and damon didn't trust Jake. Even the girls didn't trust each other.

Weapons of all kinds flew through the smoke as it weakens the strength of Arthur's magic. He couldn't fight alone and he was eventually on his knees trying to protect his friends from danger. Arthur couldn't hold the shield up anymore, it broke like glass.

It managed to cut each and everyone of the magicians except for Arthur and Jake. Jake and the others separated and ran in different directions. One by one they disappeared into the smoke. Opening their eyes only to see the mud on the ground as they hung upside down from a tree.

They all woke up next to each other tied up, with headaches as the blood flow through their heads. Shortly after, The entire forest was filled by the sound of arguing and intense screaming for help as they yelled.

"What the hell is happening!"

Said Damon in a very worried tone as moved around in the ropes. He looked over at his sister Kate and asked

"Kate? You okay?"

Kate felt dizzy as she responded to her brother's voice.

"Damon! Damon. I'm okay I just don't feel good."

Arthur seemed calm as the others freak out. Arthur was looking for a way to free himself and the others. Damon was frustrated, since he was hanged by his foot, it made him scared out of his mind.

Despite the fact Arthur telling him to calm down, he ignored him completely.

"Damon calm down we just need to cut the rope!"

Damon felt no comfort, he argued with Arthur instead.

"What the hell Arthur you expect me to stay calmly you got us into this mess in the first place!"

Arthur argued back, with rage because his main priority was getting them out of this situation

"How is this my fault?, I didn't ask for this!"

Kate intervened and told them both to knock it off and work together instead of fighting. Arthur had to find a way out but he was unware of what was coming his way.
