Blue Diamond

episode 10

Arthur tried explained the reason he came and the visions that hunted him every night.

"I'm here because of these strange visions I want to know what's happening to me!"

Arthur demanded answers, but the more he pushed the more irritated he made Roberto.

"You are very stubborn, I cannot help you!"

Arthur got angry and he began calling Roberto a coward.

"You're just a scared selfish old man, there has to be a reason I'm here!"

Angry and irritated, Roberto turned around and the entire fortress was swept with an aggressive gash of wind. Roberto eyes were filled with anger when he noticed a key chain around Arthur's neck.

The symbolic key chain was indeed special. It meant alot to Arthur since it had belonged to his mother Emma.

Roberto decided to help Arthur clear his mind, after he noticed who Arthur really was. He cleared a spot to sit and welcomed them. This shocked Arthur and his friends, for they were uncertain of what to expect.

Kate, Damon and Akira was a bit worried, since they didn’t trust him. The rumours about this man wasn’t to be trusted. To them, he seemed majestic. Arthur decided to let his guard down and put his faith in this majestic character.

Roberto sat down beside Arthur, with closed eyes. He then took a deep breath and placed his index finger on Arthur’s head. Roberto could only help if he saw the visions himself.

Instantly Arthur falls asleep, his friends had gotten a bit worried as they were frozen in fear.  Roberto had cut a line between an illusion and reality. It felt as though he was inside Arthur’s mind.

Roberto took a walk though Arthur’s memories and saw a clear image of his destiny and what he was meant to be. In disbelief, he had recognize that Arthur was no stranger for he had known Arthur’s mother Emma Thompson. Arthur was chosen to retrieve the card, which Roberto protected with his life. He suddenly realised that his duty was about to come to an end. He saw Arthur bringing peace back into something that was broken.

Arthur's heart was pure and his intentions were true. Roberto slowly opened his eyes and Arthur had woken up confused. Kate, Damon and Akira looked on as they listened calmly and silently.

Roberto told Arthur about his destiny and that he was the one to retrieve all five cards. After hearing this, Arthur laughed as if it was a joke. He couldn’t imagine himself as a diamond keeper or someone who was destined to protect it. Even Damon and Kate felt as though it was just a joke.

"Is this a joke?. Because I cannot see him being a protective person."

Said damon in a sarcastic manner.

Roberto then gave something that only Arthur would recognize as he said to Arthur,

“Emma left this to you, she said that you know what the numbers mean!”

Arthur stood still for a moment and time slowed down in his mind, since he was brought back to his old memories of where he came from. He looked at the book in Roberto’s hand. He was brought back to when his parents were alive.

His eyes were filled with tears as his emotions got the best of him. Roberto told Arthur that this journey will reveal the secrets, that was never told.

It will bring along enemies and when the time is right he must be strong enough to fight. Arthur knew what he had to do but he was still confused. It was time he knew what happened to his parents, so he filled his heart with courage and ambition to find the truth.

These cards brought hope into Arthur’s life and he wanted to help as much people as he can. Arthur had one motive and it was to find the truth.

Roberto then took Arthur and his friends to a small room in the fortress. He unlocked the door, only to find a metal floor, and what seemed like glass sealed the room. Inside floated in the air a rectangle playing card.

This was the room that contained the card of the JOKER. In Arthur's mind everything was starting to make sense.

Arthur noticed the sharp edges and was worried of getting cut, but the slightest touch of Arthur’s fingers released a powerful shield of blue glow that illuminates the entire room and its black metallic appearance were magically beautiful. This was pure beauty to Arthur.

Arthur was indeed the cards keeper. Before leaving the fortress, Roberto showed Arthur how to control the power of the card and how to draw its power within his hands. Roberto knew that with practice Arthur will be successful.

Arthur was scared but with practice and patience he’d slowly get there.  Arthur took the card and promised to protect it. As they made their way back to the village, Arthur had one more thing to do before they left.

It was to keep his promise to Duke. Since Akira was a doctor she prescribed a few medications and other natural herbs to cure Duke's daughter’s illness. Arthur wanted to bring happiness to the town so before leaving they performed a magic show.

Only this time it was real magic. Arthur wanted to use the card and practice. He wanted to see beyond his limitation. He began pulling the magic from the card to grow an enormous amount of crops. He then used a wave like motion to draw water from the river to a huge well that stood empty in the middle of the town. The water was as transparent as glass. Immediately the people of the town were filled with fear, but they shortly became trusting after they witnessed Arthur's strange illusion.

Everyone in the town had hope for a saviour had come. A man whose heart was in the right place. Arthur built trust and filled the eyes of the town’s people with hope. The town’s people were amazed by the show.  For they didn't know it was the power of his good heart that brought colour to this dull town.

These magicians had brought a broken and corrupted town back to life. The beauty of the town was restored and everyone respected Arthur for his outstanding performance. Little did he know of the dangers that lies ahead.

This brought happiness to the magician’s heart and a warm fuzzy feeling of content. Kate and Damon noticed how satisfying this was to Arthur and it compelled them to allow Arthur to complete his journey, for this was his faith. Even Akira felt the warm sensation of peace and satisfaction and they all looked forward to finding the card of SPADE.
