episode 13

He started slamming his right shoulder into the door. Worried and scared even Jake joined in, as they break the door down through the broken creases Arthur saw Kiara on the floor unconscious.

Another servant went to inform William and Damon of the twisted event. Immediately they rushed inside, at this point everyone panicked.

Arthur pushed through the broken door hurting himself as the shards of wood dug into his back and chest. He held Kiara in his arms, shaking her to wake her up. Kiara's gloves fell off and the slightest touch of her fingers healed every wound Arthur got.

He was in disbelief but hos only concern was that she's alive. He placed her on the bed and noticed she was breathing. Akira who was standing outside the door, decided to help when she gave Kiara CPR.

Nothing seemed to be working and all Arthur could think of was magic. He felt like this was a perfect opportunity to test the faith of the card.

He used his magic and the power of his own hands to bring her out of this unconscious state. Afraid he placed his index finger on her forehead as he pulled a thin strand of light from her head. The light was blue in colour and it appeared to be thin as a grain of hair.

The light then turned into a string that wrapped around Arthur’s risk like a ring. Kiara opened her eyes in a state of shock and her eyes stole a gaze into Arthur’s green eyes. She realised that Arthur saved her.

Kiara was breathing as though she was under water for a while. She grabbed onto Arthur's arm and he held onto hers. As they stole a gaze into each other's eyes, Arthur then held her up and Kiara couldn’t stop staring at Arthur.

Everyone was in a state of relief, as she seemed okay shortly after. Kiara apologizes for scaring everyone. She finally let go of Arthur’s hand when she noticed her gloves had accidentally fallen off.

Kiara’s both hands were half way covered with blue skin which appears to keep spreading. Arthur was shocked and so was everyone else. Arthur was getting worried that something was very familiar about Kiara. He just couldn’t put his finger on it.

After the chaotic incident, everyone sat in the library thinking about the magical moment they all just witnessed. William asked if Arthur and his friends could stay a few more days until Kiara was better.

Being a doctor Akira wanted to stay to treat her medically and make sure Kiara was healthy before they left. Unfortunately none of her medicine seemed useful.

Arthur agreed to stay under one condition, he wanted no secrets and he had question William about Kiara’s condition. Even though Arthur knew he was being told lies, he had hoped they’d eventually tell him the truth.

Jake wasn’t happy at all for he didn’t believe in magic or spiritual healing. He thought it was all nonsense.

“This madness needs to stop Kiara needs a hospital dad!”

Said Jake in a stubborn manner. For he didn't want to believe in the magic within.

with one sentence it turned into a father and son argument.

"Jake, I'm not gonna put my child in a hospital for everyone to think she's crazy!"

Arthur and the others just sat quietly and looked on. This was a long night for everyone. Akira and Damon stayed awake all night taking care of Kiara.

Arthur couldn’t sleep, so he decided to visit the library. Kate came down the stairs and found Arthur in the library alone in the dark with only a single lamp on. She knew the turn of events would bother him. He sat with his hand over his head, as he propped his legs on the desk in front of him, reading a book. Kate decided to join him,

"Hey. You okay?"

Kate said in a concerned tone as she looks at Arthur. He lifted his eyes off the book and said

"Yeah. I'm just worried about her. There's something about her that makes me curious."

These words bothers Kate since she felt like Arthur was interested in kiara so in a jealous manner she said

"What's so special about her Arthur? She just needs help."

In Arthur's mind he was so curious about kiara's condition he was blind to Kate's jealousy. He didn't think much of it.

"I know kate, but there's something different about her. Her eyes just.."

As Arthur paused in thought kate decides to break his concentration as she felt irritated

"Well let's not think to much of it okay. I'm sure she's just fine without us."

Arthur couldn't careless of what Kate said but he kept wondering to himself that he felt different when he held onto kiara.

Their conversation was going ok at first until Kate mentioned something about kiara that offended Arthur.

"To be honest Arthur I think she's just a distraction the bitch got blue hands, think about it."

Arthur looked at Kate in disappointment as he listened to her. She degraded kiara in so many ways that Arthur was shocked.

"Kate! How could you speak like that you barely know her."

Kate felt like Arthur was defended kiara and she got angry.

"Why do you care so much about a stranger Arthur?"

His silence was justified that he wasn't going to continue the argument.

Kate spoke the worse about Kiara and  Arthur was starting to get upset and it wasn’t what he expected from kate.

Kate spoke as if she was trying to make  Arthur hate kiara for no reason at all. Kate then said something she shouldn’t have

“Arthur kiara is just another whore trying to get your attention."

These words ring through Arthur’s head like a bell. He immediately stood up and slammed the book on the desk

"Not another word kate. I wish to be alone."

Kate left angry and disturbed. Arthur on the other hand ended up falling asleep in library that night. The next morning, Damon went down stairs and saw Arthur fast asleep with his head down on the desk.

He appeared to be uncomfortable, so Damon decided to wake him. Arthur woke up with a slight pain in his neck due to his uncomfortable sleep. He went looking for Kate only to find her outside near the pool. Kate was still upset about the argument she had with Arthur.

Arthur was still upset as well so he just avoided talking to her.
Damon saw Arthur’s reaction, when he decided to question his feelings.

Arthur  was angry as he walked up the stairs, down the hall way, which was a bad time to ask, yet he did it anyway,

"Hey Arthur what's wrong man?"

Arthur slammed Damon against the wall, gripping on to his arm tightly. Arthur didn’t want to listen but Damon was determined to know what exactly had happened last night.

"Why are you so angry!"

Damon argues, Arthur didn't even know why it bothers him. He had no feelings for kiara nor did he understand her condition.

"I dont know. I'm sorry damon, I just dont know what happened kate got me so upset."

Said Arthur in a calm voice as he wonder to himself why was he so concerned for kiara.

They kept their voices down as they argued slightly. Damon realised that Kate had touched a nerve in Arthur’s mind. For the entire day he avoided Kate and turned his focus on find the card of the SPADE.
