Episode 22

Meanwhile Kiara couldn’t find the words to explain what had happened. She didn’t know what she did. She wasn’t  doing wrong to affect  their relationship. For all she knew she stayed a distance from Arthur.

Akira thought to herself that everyone needed some space. They were all tired and of course,  their problems were getting worse by the second. Damon seemed worried about his sister, as he noticed she was secretly crying. Even though she hid her tears he knew something was wrong.

Kate wanted to have Arthur for herself. Kate didn’t say anything else to Arthur. Jake figured out the map and they were looking for another road to take. Damon had spotted a short cut in order for them to get back on the main road. Damon decided to ride in front with Arthur as Kate took the back seat along with the other’s. He looked at Arthur and noticed he was bothered beyond words. Damon couldn’t understand what was wrong but he felt as though this trip was taking away the trust that they once had for each other.

Jake noticed Arthur wasn't look at the map and was wondering where he was going. He didn't want to question Arthur about the location but he restrained from doing so. He quietly waited to see where Arthur was heading. Jake knew Arthur was full of surprises but he trusted him.  They all got confused by Arthur's mysterious short cut through the woods, as he drove without saying anything. He seemed angry and bothered. The others trusted him enough not to question him. Arthur knew exactly where he was going. The indigenous people warned them that this was a test of faithfulness and trust,  as Damon remembered chief Sabah saying this to them before leaving.

Therefore the next task took them to a  place of hope. As the roads curved through the tall oak trees, they found themselves driving through a huge mountain Valley. Filled  with its natural ambiance of magic folklore, historical significance, peace, mystery and of course family. Arthur's mother had an older sister  Madison Paisley. The village was built into slopes of the land and the remarkable views of the sunset was fascinating. Jake, Damon and the girls couldn’t believe such a beautiful little village existed.

The small village was known for its healing, so they called it the sanctuary of magicians, also known as Millstone. Everything seemed magical, it was like a dream that was turned into reality. They looked on in amusement as they took in the cold mountain air and its beautiful sights. Arthur's ancestral family were born in these mountains and they were the best of magicians in the world. Arthur’s grandfather Jack had learned a lot but there was something that he wasn’t told.

 Arthur had a gut feeling that only his family would be able to help answer his questions. Arthur had stopped at the end of the road in front the most beautiful little cottage . The small wooden house, with its white glowing walls seemed like the perfect little dream house and it was surrounded by the beauty of the valley and forest trees.

Arthur decided to meet his aunt Madison, while the others explore the elegance, beauty and its potential values of endless possibilities. Madison couldn’t believe how tall and handsome Arthur had become, she was extremely happy to see him. As she invited them in, she hugged Arthur and said

“Arthur my boy. Look how tall you’ve become!”.

Arthur felt a bit shy, but hugged her in return as he said

“Aunt Madison it’s great to see you, but I need your help!”

On hearing Arthur’s words, she immediately understood why he came. She had promised her sister Emma to help her son once he had arrived at her doorstep. This was the moment to prove herself to Arthur’s mother.

 Madison had joy in her eyes as she met Arthur after such a long time. They spoke while the others decided to have a look around since Arthur needed a private moment with his aunt. Jake saw the most beautiful little bird, he noticed it couldn’t fly because its wings were wet. So he dropped his bags and knelt down drying the drenched bird in his warm t shirt. Kate notice Jake kneeling down and she watches him take care of the bird. She thought to herself that Jake was indeed a very mysterious person. Akira and Damon both, bumped into each other while trying to get the bags out the car. He suddenly noticed Akira had beautiful brown eyes and he couldn’t help but stare.

Meanwhile, Kiara was bothered she wanted to apologize to Kate but she didn’t know how, or what she did wrong. Kiara was filled with doubts. Just then, Madison came out to the porch with Arthur and invited them to stay in the guest house. Jake knew he could trust Arthur But there was something even Arthur was about to find out.

Later that evening, as everyone settled, Madison invited everyone to her home for dinner. It was a tradition they kept in Millstone. During dinner, Akira and Damon ended up spending some quality time talking about how they grew up. Akira went on to say

“I grew up in Boston.  My mom died when I was six and well dad was all I had.”

Damon felt disheartened as he heard Akira spoke but listened to every word. He got more curious and decided to ask

“So, how did you get into medical school?”.

Akira got emotional as she replied

“Dad, had to sell his farm, but he was happy because I got to take care of him afterwards.”

Damon’s heart broke and he wished he could of done something more for her, but Akira was content with what she had. Meanwhile Jake was getting curious as to why Arthur brought them to such a wonderful place.

Jake found it rather strange that Arthur didn't say where he was going or whom he had gone to see. To his surprise everyone was so welcoming and place was filled with peace. This encouraged him to keep his promise to Arthur.
