Arthur’s curiosity got the better of him and he decided to open it. William and the others looked on for this was a strange moment. The suspense filled the room as Arthur slowly pushes his hand through the broken pieces of the wall, trying to open the compartment.

Arthur finally got the compartment open and the slightest touch of Arthur’s hand lit up the entire library, a bright vine like glow covered the walls of the library.

It appeared to be the same vine like glow on the walls of the fortress. Arthur knew he was one step closer to finding the card. The compartment was filled with old photos and maps from Donna’s expedition. Arthur was fascinated by her research.

Arthur wondered why Donna would hide her research within the walls of the mansion. Even William was surprised that his wife would hide such important information from him. As they rummage though the hole in the wall, they found another box with a small key. Arthur came down the ladder and had a look at the key but it appeared to be very different from a regular key.

It looked ancient and was covered in dust. The rustic appearance made Arthur curious as to what does this key opens. Later that very evening, they all sat together in a circle and decided to go through the pile of old maps and photos that was hidden in the walls.

Kate and Arthur went through the old photographs, as they spoke about their relationship.

"Why are you avoiding me Arthur?"

Said kate in a concerned manner, as she looked at Arthur rummaging through the old Polaroid photos in the box. He lifted his head as he took a deep breath he said

"Kate, now isn't the time to talk about this ok. I'm sorry I was upset ok. I love you."

Kate decided to drop the matter when she realised Arthur really does love her in her mind Arthur only saw her.

Meanwhile William and Damon went through the strange artifacts that was discovered by Donna, and the others go through the old maps. Jake and Akira managed to find the missing piece of the first map.

It was the location to a small tribe, that was hidden in an oasis deep within the rainforest. Jake was interested to see where his mother expedition to and he wanted to join their search for the SPADE.

This was it, all the answers to finding the SPADE of light. Only now Arthur had a problem.

Kiara was very excited and had seemed ready for adventure but her father had forbidden her to go for he was uncertain of her current illness. Arthur found a way to reason with William because without Arthur kiara would die. This was something Arthur hid from his friends and most importantly Kate.

Arthur requested for her to join in and since Jake didn’t trust Arthur very much he demanded to go along as well.

The next morning, Jake and Kiara got into a huge argument.

“Kiara this isn’t safe for you!”

said Jake since he was angry but worried at the same time. Kiara went on to say

“I’ve never been out of the house this is something I want to do for mom.”

Her words stuck Jake like a knife to the heart, as though he was guilty. Jake eventually gave in but they promised to protect each other out there. Arthur overheard the conversation while passing and decided to intervene

“Are you guys ready to go?”

annoyed as he was, Jake answered

“yeah give us a sec!”

Arthur couldn't care less of what Jake thought he knew his main responsibilities was keeping kiara alive.

Arthur knew Jake didn’t trust him but he also knew that eventually one day he just might.

It was a moment of trust and faith, as they left their lives behind. The further they go the more dangerous this trip was going to get. Jake and Kiara had no idea what they had signed up for but they were going to find out the hard way.

Arthur drove in front while Jake followed. Along the road, Kate question Arthur’s silence. Ever since they had left the mansion, he seemed rather quiet.

"Arthur what's wrong? Why are you so silent?"

Said kate in a calm tone, as she reads through a magazine. Arthur looked at the road but his mind was far. He kept looking back in the mirror to ensure that Jake and kiara were safe. He then responded

"I'm fine kate, nothing to worry about."

Even Damon and Akira found it very strange that Arthur was very silent. Arthur then said

“something is familiar about Kiara I just cant place my finger on it!”

Kate didn’t think much about it but she knew it bothered him. Damon and Akira were left wondering as to why Arthur seems worried and confused. Jake and Kiara were having a great time but as they go Jake warned Kiara not to mention her incident of which she had caused her illness. The secret was their burden to carry.

Kiara was disheartened but she knew it was important to keep it a secret. The long curved roads took them to a small yet joyful town. It was filled with laughter and music. The people there, seemed welcoming and very cheerful.

Beautiful floral decorations hang like arches over the road. It appeared to be a special day. Arthur and his friends were very amused by the decor and its joyous atmosphere brought a warm fuzzy feeling.

Arthur felt a bit tired, since the drive was long even Jake felt it necessary to rest for a while. They drove through the town, looking for a hotel or inn but had no luck, all of the hotels were full. Fortunately Jake met an old friend of his oliver Miles.

Oliver had came to visit his uncle and was in town for a few days, he was very uptight and well dressed. He was a perfectionist at everything he did. Jake and Oliver both served in the military but Oliver had to return home because of his injury. Oliver was indeed happy to see Jake and Kiara. He’s a very close friend to the Rivera’s.
