Blue Diamond

episode 12

Suspense filled the room as Arthur questioned kiara. She told them that she was in an accident that almost took her life. That a burglar had broken in to their home one night to steal a map that contained the codes that leads to a location. When she accidentally touched the map. After the incident Kiara found herself in the hospital with a blue skin that came from the very flesh of her body. Both her hands were blue and it almost felt like a coincidence to Arthur.

William and Jake both looked at each as she sarcastically spoke. They then added to her excuses that they were searching for answers but still couldn't find a solution to her illness. For they knew this was magic. Their only fear was that the world would see them as crazy.

Arthur and his friends found it weird in the manner which they spoke, as if they were hiding something. Ever since Kiara wore gloves, to hide her blue hands. Even the best doctors couldn't do anything. William always had a keen eye for spiritual healing but never believed in magic. He noticed a lot of things about Arthur but he seemed uncertain.

William felt pity and invited Arthur and his friends to stay, for he had liked Arthur’s enthusiasm. He offered them warm beds and hot meals, even lend access to his ongoing library. Arthur was grateful for the library maybe he would find something that can be resourceful in his journey. Everyone seemed comfortable but Jake wasn't.

Jake wasn't the type of guy that trusted anyone so easily. Being a militant it was hard to trust anyone around his family, so he kept an eye on everything. He was rather obvious and very protective of something and Kate never missed the opportunity to figure out what that was. Jake suddenly left the room and went outside. Later that evening, they all settled in, a servant had come to inform them that dinner was ready. They joined the dinner table and it seemed like a very peaceful night for everyone. During dinner Kate had noticed that Jake was missing and her suspicions was confirmed. He was definitely hiding something. Kiara looked disturbed and lost in thought during dinner, so she made an excuse to leave. To Arthur and his friends things were starting to feel a bit strange.

She left the table bothered, unaware that Arthur was paying very close attention. After dinner, William thought it was a good idea to allow Arthur to perform a magical phenomenon, while the others enjoy a hot cup of tea with him.

This was a chance to get comfortable with each other. Kate noticed Jake walking towards the stairs and had asked to be excused, as she followed Jake upstairs unknowingly. Jake went to check on his sister, who wasn’t feeling well at the moment.

Kate was surprised yet curious to know why Kiara wore the gloves in the first place and why was she in such a horrible condition. The next day, Jake seemed frustrated and angry, as he was yelling on the phone. His words were mean and harsh. It seemed as though it was a very important conversation with someone on the other end of the line.

His harsh, arrogant yelling  gained the attention of Kate who was passing by when she heard the yelling and wondered why was he so upset. Meanwhile Arthur tried to get kiara's attention, since he was curious about her hands.

Even Akira found something was a bit off she decided to talk to damon about it. She went on and on about Jake and Kiara’s mysterious reactions.

Damon couldn’t care less for all he wanted was to be cared for. Regardless of what Akira said Damon just got bored and left Akira talking to herself.

He walked down the hall way only to find Kate eavesdropping on Jake. He had the most wicked smiled, when he intended to scare her.

“what’s so interesting about the wall sis?”

Upon hearing Damon's voice kate was startled. She couldn’t help but laugh, on the other side of  wall Jake heard Kate's laughter, when he decided listen to damon’s conversation with kate. Kate chuckled and told damon that something was indeed strange but it wasn’t her business to find out.

Meanwhile Akira had realised she was talking to herself, so she tucked herself in bed and decided to take a quick nap before they left.

Damon and kate went to Arthur's room to inform him they were leaving soon but he wasn’t to be found. Arthur was observing kiara as healed a butterfly with her hands and her mysterious behaviour made him interested yet curious. He realised that kiara channels magic with hands and she can heal the sick but yet there were many consequences.

Jake was out in the vineyard enjoying grapes and juice with William, meanwhile damon and kate were searching for Arthur. Damon went back to his room only to find Akira fast asleep. Arthur on the other went looking for Kate to tell her what he had seen.

Arthur found kate in her room packing her bags, he thought to himself that he wasn't getting enough time with kate. Arthur hugged kate from behind and began to kiss her neck. She was a bit surprised but the senses in her body gave in and she turned facing Arthur she kissed his desperate lips as he wrapped his arms around her.

Arthur kissed her with deep passion and decided to caress her with his warm hands. Kate kissed Arthur with her eyes closed and she pulled Arthur closer to her. She kissed him back and the romantic mood filled the atmosphere of the room.

They were very much in love, something Arthur had hoped would never end.

Meanwhile, Kiara was getting ready for breakfast, when she felt a sudden dizziness and she fell to the floor unconscious.  Arthur who was in the next room with Kate heard the sound of Kiara’s fall and got skeptical of the strange thud they heard.

"Did you hear that?"

Said Arthur in suspicion, as he looked at kate she pulled him back and said

"Yeah I did."

He knew it came from Kiara’s room, so he decided to knock on the door. Kate who stood behind Arthur called out to her in a worried tone.

“Kiara its Kate are you ok?”

There was no answer and the door was locked. Arthur kept knocking on the door but still they got no answer. He was getting a bit worried, so he decided to call for help.

In a blink of an eye Jake and the servants came running to Kiara’s room as they continued to knock the door. Still there wasn’t any answer. Both Arthur and Jake were scared. The frantic moment caused chaos in Arthur’s mind, as he tried to get the door open. Arthur was so clueless and even Kate was worried for they were unaware of what's going happen next.
