Chapter 40

Chanel POV
We packed up all of Care's stuff and put it in the moving truck. She sat in liams lap the whole drive while I drove. I would occasionally glance over at her but she never took her eyes off the road. We got home and she dashed inside without warning. I was about to run after her when Liam grabbed my arm , "Don't love." I yanked my arm and chased after her. I looked everywhere then I looked outside. She was sitting on the sand watching the sky. I sighed. Liam started moving the boxes inside. I went outside and sat next to her. She wiped away her tears and asked, "Chanel. Is it ever gonna get any better?" I looked over at her and grabbed her hand, "One day it's gonna suck a little less, then a little less, then a little less, then one day your gonna find peace with it." She looked at me. Liam called our name and waves us in. I picked Caroline up and walked back to the house. Liam grabbed Caroline and covered her eyes. "I have a surprise for you." She giggled while he carried her to the basement? I got down there and gasped. This is what he was working on the whole week before the funeral. Caroline looked around. He painted it purple with white carpeting. He got her a black and white bed , a white dresser and mirror. He also moved the rest of her boxes down here. There were beanbags and it was beautiful. She hugged him and kissed his cheek , "Thank you." I smiled.

The guys always visit and try to convince me to move back with them but I always decline. Caroline stills cries at night and has had nightmares and insomnia. Liam sleeps down there to keep her company. She's getting better but she lost her parents so it's never gonna be perfect.
I get a text from Sawyer to search the user 7boyswithadream on Youtube. I search it and I see them. My past bullies on a collab channel. I smile and watch their videos. The short name is 7BWAD and it seems like alot but they are hilarious and already popular I giggle at their stupidness where they threw Jason off a roof into a swimming pool. Liam comes in and sits on my bed. "What are we?" I close my laptop.
"what do you want to be?"
"Yours."
"Then thats what we are." He smiled and kissed me. He pulled me on top of him . It was soft and I felt sparks. Then I heard Caroline, "EWWW" i turn and see her covering her eyes. She ran downstairs screaming ew. Liam smiled and kissed me, "That's what happens when you have a child." I shoved him away and he chuckled.
Caroline wanted to stay with the guys this weekend so I dropped her off at 8 pm. I got home and dropped my bag on the table. I saw roses leading upstairs so I followed it. I opened my door and saw it illuminated with Candles and roses were everywhere.
"We've had no privacy for a while so I figured I'd enjoy it while I can."
He gave me some champagne We drank then he kissed me.
I threw on some shorts and a tshirt. I cuddled into Liam's body. We watched a movie and it was quiet and nice. He kissed me and it was perfect. He turned on some music and picked me up. He sat me down and he asked, "May I have this dance?" I nodded and we started to slow dance. I laid my head in his chest and he pulled me closer. I pulled away and kissed him. He kissed back and them we broke apart after a while. We laid down and cuddled while we fell asleep in each others arms. I woke up and looked and saw Liam was asleep. I took off the covers amd tried to get out of bed. Then liam yanked me back to bed and threw the covers over us. I giggled as he pulled me closer. He kissed my forehead, "Don't leave just yet. I wanna enjoy this." I nod and get up and shut the curtains so it was dark. I jump back into bed and he kissing me. His hand moves to my back and he slides me closer to him. I kiss back and suddenly he's on top if me. I giggle when he kisses my neck. He lays back down and wraps his arm around me. I kiss his cheek and he chuckles. I wish I could do this more often but now I have a kid to raise.
