Chapter 49

Chanel POV♡
After court we all went to my place to celebrate together. We walked in and Broke out the juice (actual juice boxes ) and we all decided to go to the beach. The guys and hailey all had bathing suits and clothes here so we all changed. Caroline wanted to stay at her friends house so we all were crazy. Everyone went in the water while I talked to Taylor, Corbin, and Jason.
"So boys any new ladies?"
Taylor smirked and Jason and Corbin blushed.
"OMG WHOO?!?!?"
Taylor cleared his throat & started,"I'm sorta with Hailey..... "
I screeched & Grabbed Hailey.
"YOU 2 ARE DATING OMG NO WAY HOLY CHEESEBALLS MOTHER OF GOD YASS!!!!
They smiled and Taylor wrapped his arms around her and leaned in. She did too until He scooped her up and ran towards the water. He dipped her in and I watched them playfully mess around. Jason and Corbin came up and hugged me.
"We both missed you best friend."
I kissed their cheeks and they gave a side glance at each other. They scooped me up and chucked me in the water. I screamed and laughed .We all decided to do chicken fight.
I was with Jason and we were going against Taylor and Hailey I shoved her playfully and she yanked my arm. I tickled her and she toppled . Taylor caught her and kissed her. I smiled then I was thrown off of Jasons shoulders. We all decided to change and have a bonfire. I got into some sweats and a sweatshirt then we all started the fire.
"So lets all catch up eh?" Said Wren.
I looked and was surprised to see Tristen start.
"I met someone."
We all gasped .
"JK HAHAHHA "
We all threw marshmallows at him.
The rest of the night we all stared at the sky and huddled in our blankets.
The sun started to rise and I dropped the blanket. I walked along the beachside and stared at the shimmer of light reflecting off the clear blue sea. I heard footsteps trailing behind me then next to me. I turned to see Hailey. I hugged her and we linked arms while we continued to watch along the shoreline. We talked and caught up , I realized how much I missed her.
"Guess what?"
"Huh Hails tell me."
"I bought a house and sold the apartment."
"Omg where?"
"That bright blue house next to yours..."
I screamed and Jumped on her. We laughed and rolled in the sand. We walked back and i decided to check on Care. I walked down to her room and saw her just fting her friend. I waved and walked back up. We all ordered a pizza cause if you dont eat pizza for breakfast your lame. If came and we all sat on the beach chucking crumbs at seagulls. I got a call saying they wanted to do a follow up shoot with the guys and me and hailey. Hailey and I changed into sweats and the 7BWAD crew changed too.
The O2L boys and the rest took Caroline out for the day so we headed to the shoot. We were at the shoot. We took the elevator up to the 50th floor as instructed . We all saw not offices but just dressing room and a huge shooting area. We all got pit in seperate dressing room. I got offered 3 different outfits to wear for the shoot.
The first was white ripped high waisted shorts, a LA muscle tee, a OBEY snapback , and bracelets lastly with high top converse .
The second was a plain
pink sundress with sandals .
The last one was ripped jeans, a baseball tee shirt, a beanie and some high tops.
I picked the first one and changed. The curled my hair into loose waves and I put on the snap back backwards. I put on my bracelets while they did my makeup. They did light eyeshadow with winged eyeliner and mascara . i walked out and saw everyone coming out too.
Tristen was in beige kakis with a nike grey sweatshirt and black vans.
Taylor went with black joggers, a black tee with a gold chains. He wore jordans too.
Corbin and Jason wore kakis too but with button ups and vans.
Wren wore dark ripped jeans, a white tee shirt with a black jean vest. and some black and white converse.
Sam wore basketball shorts and a nike shirt with a snapback and some jordans.
Skylar wore a blue flannel with jeans and some vans too.
Lastly Hailey wore some black high waisted shorts with a white tanktop and a red flannel tied around her waist, with converse. We all walked to the shooting area. We just had a plain white background .
Our director made us take some serious and smiling pics. Then we took dysfunctional ones or crazy one. We had one shot left so we all jumped into the air. We wrapped up and they said we could keep the clothes so, we grabbed the ones we came in and left.
I let Caroline stay at a friends so It was just the adults. We all decided to play truth or dare.
Skylar was first, "Taylor , Truth or dare?"
Taylor didnt even hesitate "DARE!"
Skylar pondered for a moment then smirked, "I dare you to go skinny dipping then run down the beach to the 5 house ,wearing nothing, and come back."
He smirked, He stripped his clothes as he ran to the ocean. We all laughed and watched. I covered Hailey's eyes and Sawyer covered mine. About 10 mins later he came back chattering his teeth.
"I-its free-free-freezing."
we all laughed. More dares went on and on till we were to tired to function . We all went upstairs and crashed in my room. They guys were spread around the floor. While Hailey and taylor took the couch and I took the bed with Con da bon. Everyone feel asleep while I stared at the ceiling. I pulled the covers off of me and kissed Connors Forehead. I climbed out the window with my 3 blankets and 2 pillows to the roof. I had a rly flat huge roof with like a fence railing thing and a mattress cause I always come up here to think. I spread the thickest blanket over the mattress and set up my pillows and stuff.

I stare at the stars wondering why I ever learned the constellations.

Liam POV
I heard the window opening so I gazed up and saw Chanel carrying like 3 blankets and pillows. I grabbed my sweater when she climbed up I followed. I saw her gazing at the star with the moonlight hitting her face so you could see every feature. I sat on the mattress. She patted the spot next to her.
I sat next to her and I felt her turn.
"Why don't you let people see the good in you."
I sighed, "Cause when people see good , they expect good. And I don't wanna live up to anyone's expectations ."
She scoffed and laid on her back. She let her arm fall onto the mattress so it was near mine. I took and risk and grabbed it, Lacing out fingers together. Her breath hitched and I felt her pull away and go to the railing. I stood up and grabbed her. I caressed her cheeks and she said, "It's not right ,you can't kiss me."
I smiled, "It's right, just not right now.
She went back to the mattress and I sat there on the edge. When her breathing slowed I laid next to her knowing she was asleep.
Why cant she be mine?

Chanel POV
I woke up with a bright light hitting my skin. I blinked my eyes opened and saw the sunrise. I recalled last nights events and sighed. I turned expecting to see Liam but all I saw was a note

Dear Chanel,
I love you so Im gonna fix myself and come home to you and when I win your heart back, It will not be because of any tricks, It'll be because you want me as much as I want you. I wanna be the good guy for you but i know you may not want me so this time I left a note. I love you. And If I come back and you're in love with someone else I'll leave town and leave you alone.

I felt tears so I ripped up the note and chucked it off the roof without a second glance. I texted Hailey where I was and to say I just went out for a bit. I heard someone climbing up and I saw Hails. I ran to her and cried. my tears flooded onto her shirt as I tried to choke out the words that he was gone. She didn't even ask she just held on as tightly as I held on her. I wiped my tears and pulled away. I explained what had happened and she nodded sadly. She left me so I could gather myself together. I heard the climbing so I turned around and said, "Hailey Im fi- Damon?"
He smirked , "Miss me?"
