Chanel POV
Me and Caroline laid on the couch watching a movie she liked but,my eyes always wondered to the door hoping that liam would burst in. No such luck. Caroline fell asleep so I carried her downstairs to her room. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. I walked upstairs and made myself some coffee. I sat at on a barstool and tried not to think about what he said. "I'm done you haven't been the same and thats not what I want. "
I didn't realize that my coffee had gone cold so I put it in the microwave . Right when it beeped
I heard a knock at the door. I set down my coffee and checked to see who it was. I opened it and Tristen walked in. He was pacing and sweaty. He sat down in the living room and didn't look at me. I sat warily next to him and he started talking, "Im so sorry, I shouldn't have sa-said that I, I just I cant do this . I turned his head towards me and said, "Look at me Tristen." His eyes connected with mine . "But i just wanted to say sorry , tell liam hello."
"Liam's gone."
Tristen's hand stopped on the door handle. I was hoping he'd say something but he shook his head and walked out the door .
I shrugged it off and started walking upstairs. I heard a motorcycle turn off outside and keys being jangled. The door opened and closed , all I heard was , "Chanel?"
I Turned around and saw Liam with a hopeful look on his face. I sighed.
"Can i come home?"
"Always."
He smiled and leaned in to kiss me but I backed away, "As friends. I cant be in a relationship cause the only person I need to focus on is Caroline."
He nodded and hugged me.
The next couple of weeks were chill at least. Caroline started school again so I could go back to work.
I dropped Caroline off at school and headed to work with Liam since he wanted to tag along. We arrived at the shoot and parked the car. We were on a private beach with tents set up and several equipment items. We walked until I saw my stylist and the photographer. I smiled and hugged Stevie (stylist) and shook hands with the photographer James. Stevie took me and liam to a tent and sat me in a chair. Liam sat next to me and played on his phone. Stevie gave me a teal bikini that I'd seen in a VS store😍. I got changed and Stevie started on my hair. He straightened it and ruffled it a little so it looked crazy but pretty. My makeup artist came over and started applying waterproof concealer and foundation. She finished up and I look in the mirror. She did soft makeup and it looked gooodddd. Liam looked at me and gave me a thumbs up so we walked out to the photographer . He told me where to go and what he had in mind. I walked over to a collection of rocks where the waves were crashing softly against. I laid across the rocks and looked at the camera. We took about 30 shots total and went through them. We picked out the best and he said he'd email them to me. I changed back into my clothes and said bye to Stevie and all them.
We got back home and I checked the time. It was 3:30 so I changed and drove to Carolines school to pick her up. I got out of the car and saw kids moms waiting by their cars so I did that. The bell rang and a collection of kids came bustling out in bunches. I saw Caroline with some other little girls them she saw me and broke away. She jumped into my arms and I put her in her seat. We drove off and decided to stop for food. We stopped at Taco bell and ordered. We sat down and drank our baja blasts. She ate her taco and Gazed at the crowd of customers . I saw Sawyer and Tyler so I called them over. They brought their food and sat with us. Sawyer sat next to me while Tyler and Care took selfies and giggled. Me and Sawyer talked for a while till Care complained she was tired so we said goodbye & left. I carried Care to her room since she passed out. I tucked her in and walked back upstairs. Liam was on the phone so I went upstairs and laid in bed. I stared at the ceiling and thought about how this is actually gonna work for once.
