It was the middle of a Thursday, aka, our slowest day of the work week and I was in the middle of updating some of the patient's paper work when I yet again heard a woman's excited (and may I mention overdramatic) voice coming through our office's door. I stopped typing and got quiet for a little while.

"Oh Sir, you're so funny! Of course you want me here." I heard come through our office door.

It was also lunch time, and instead of eating together, at around eleven a brunette came in and stepped into his office. After that, she had been here since. Her voice honestly annoyed me to no end. It sounded so desperate.

"Mina, I said that I would call you later for playtime." I heard Leo mutter, annoyed

You know, I was really starting to miss the sound proofing the old office supposedly had.

"But Sir, I've missed you, I wanted to see you. It's been days."

 I heard his voice lower.

"Now Mina... you know how I feel when you show up at my job like this. Have you forgotten our arrangement and contract?""

"No Sir I have not."

"Good girl. Now, I want you to go home and I will come over when it is time are we clear?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Good. Now, go on."

A few seconds later I heard the door close and heels clicking down the hallway until the sounds ceased. Finally, the annoying voice was gone.

Leo soon burst into my office and I jumped, knocking over a cup of pencils on my desk. He looked at me from the doorway.

"Sorry about the delay. You ready to go?" He asked

I put the last pencil back into the cup and with a nervous clear of my throat, stood up and smoothed my skirt down.

"Yes, I've been starving." I said

I walked in front of my desk and leaned against it.

"So, is that your lady of the week?" I asked nonchalantly

He seemed taken aback.

"What?"

"That women in your office. I'm curious."  I smirked,

He scoffed with a smile.

"She's a friend."

I didn't know why, but an unexpected bolt of jealousy shot through me and it left red hot heat in it's wake. We weren't together, we were just friends. So, why was I feeling this way?

"Sure, a friend." I remarked with my own scoff, straightening up and going for my purse.

When I turned back around, Leo was basically standing right in front of me. His scent assaulted my nose immediately and I felt a shudder pass through me. He was so close, and I had nowhere to go since I was basically pushed against the edge of my desk.

"Why does it bother you so much about how many lady friends I have?" He asked in a taunting way

"I don't. I'm just saying, they always show up to your office." I said, now defensive

"You must care if you notice them."

"No, I'm just observant."

He got even closer to me. So close, that his knees touched my thighs.

"Know what I think? I think you're jealous." He whispered, voice low in his throat.

"Jealous! Pssh me?!"
