Leo

A few hours later, I had gotten the cue that dinner would be ready within twenty minutes. I had been sitting on the couch reading quietly when Ellie came to join me.

"Done exploring Pet?" I asked, not looking up from the page

"Yeah, well, where you told me where I could go without getting lost."

I smiled softly.

"Good girl. I have great news, dinner should be ready soon. So if you could please follow me outside towards the beach."

I closed the book and taking her hand, waited for her to stand upright.

"Okay." She said with a soft smile

We both walked to the front of the house. The sky was midnight blue with cerulean colored clouds spreading over it's vastness. And adorning the sky further were the brightest stars I had ever seen. In front of us was a small, round table, with white table cloth on the top, two white candles alit, china, and nice silverware. In the middle of the two candles was a basket of bread, and beside the plates were two glasses of wine.

"If you will have a seat m'lady." I whispered to her

I pulled out the dark brown wooden chair and she sat, thanking me. I went to the other side of the table and sat in my own chair. Torches were a lit a little ways behind both of our chairs so that there would be sufficient light to see. Soon after we were seated, a few people came out of the shadows and set food in place of the empty plates that were in front of us. It was lobster, baked potato, and steak. Greens were to the side since there was no room left on the plate. I saw the shocked and appreciative expression on her face as the servers soon left and went back to where they came from.

"What's the matter Pet?"

"N-nothing." She mumbled

She put her hand to her mouth and I saw her shoulders shake slightly. Concerned, I drew my hand to her.

"What? What is it?"

She looked up at me with a smile.  "Thank you so much Leo, this is too nice. I really love all of this, I don't know how I'll ever repay you for all of this."

I took her hand softly and rubbed my thumb atop of it, looking at her with a warm smile.

"You never will have to. Just keep being who you are, that is your repayment."

"You sure do know how to make a girl feel special."

"Of course I do, you deserve this, Ellie. So enjoy it, because after this the only presents you'll get from me will be 25 cent related. "
