Ellie
On the plane ride home, I was quiet as I laid in my Sir's arms. I would miss Italy, but I longed for something familiar and the company of my bestfriends also known as my roomates. I hadn't talked to them in a few days, and I knew I'd be getting an earful once I returned to Collinsville. But I was fine with that, I missed them that much. I felt Leo kiss my head and I wrapped my arms tighter around him.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. I know this is random, but have you talked to Caine in awhile?"
"Oh yeah, I checked in the other day. He says everything is going well. I know Brandi is happy to see him right?"
I chuckled, thinking of the conversation I had with her a few days ago.
"They're having a great time together. I hope she can deal well when he goes back to Texas."
"Actually, I have some good news for you."
"What?" I asked, looking up curiously
"Caine has decided to stay indefinitely."
I got excited.
"Really?" I smiled
"Yeah. He said that his mom is doing fine. He got her the help that she needed, so he's coming back to Collinsville."
"Yes! I am so happy, now we're all gonna be together again."
He chuckled.
"It's like you're more excited to see him than you are me."
"I'll always be excited to see you." I said quietly
He kissed my forehead.
"I know Pet."
He took my face in between both hands, tipped my face up and kissed me. He kissed my nose, my eyes lids, and all over my face. It tickled and made me smile.
"I just love you so much. Don't forget that."
"I won't" I smiled
"I love you too, you're so good to me."
"Only for you Kitten. You're stuck with me, you might as well enjoy it."
I smiled and snuggled further into his chest.
"Of course I'll enjoy it."
Leo
We were both fast asleep when I was nudged awake by the captain of the plane.
"We have arrived, sir." He said to me
I rubbed my eyes and sat up gingerly, careful not to awaken Ellie.
"Thank you John. It's nice to see you again" I smiled at him
He nodded
"Like wise, sir. You've really grown since I've seen you last."
"Yeah, little Leo is grown up."
"That he has. How are your parents?" He asked me
"Still bitter.... you know they've divorced right?" I asked him
He shook his head slightly.
"Yes, I figured that when I saw your mom a few months back without your father.. How are you doing?"
I looked towards Ellie.
"Better."
"Always good. I hope to see you soon hm?" He commented, walking back to the cockpit.
I woke Ellie up and her eyes slowly opened, looking up at me.
"Hey there, we're here." I said softly
She sat up and stretched.
"Already?"
I chuckled.
"Yeah, it's morning Pet."
She groaned.
"Back to real life."
I smiled.
"All good things have to come to an end sometimes, or else you'd never be able to cherish them."
"That is true." She replied, getting up
I got up from my own seat and started collecting our bags. Once everything was packed and back in the car, we took off from the tarmac and I drove her home.
A/N: Another short one. But the next part will be up soon :)
