Sixty-Two (part two)

"Thank you. Now, get some sleep." She says quietly

I lay my head on her chest.

"I don't want to."

"Why not?"

I take her hand in mine and play with her fingers.

"It's a good night, I hope it doesn't end too fast."

She looks over at the clock and sees it's now 12 AM.

"We're already into the next day. But don't worry, we'll have plenty of anniversaries.... If you're committed to keeping me for awhile."

"Of course I am." I said quietly

We started an impromptu thumb war. She giggled when I trapped her thumb.

"I win." I say quietly

"You cheated. Best two out of three!" She teased

"You're on Doll."

A/N: Yeah, yeah I know, I could've written out the sex part. I say that in particular because I already know someone will complain about it lol. Honestly, I've been depressed for awhile, since my junior year of hs (I'm not a rising college sophomore) and I just can't muster up the passion anymore and I damn sure can't fake it. The story has a few parts left so I'm trying to get it uploaded and then after that I'll probably take a hiatus the rest of the summer. Don't get me wrong, I love writing and I love the support, comments, and reads from you guys. I really appreciate you guys, but I'm in a really dark place right now and it's a struggle for me to write at all. I still write because of you guys, but i'm just saying, right now it's not easy for me. I'd rather write a passionate piece when I'm in a better frame of mind than give you guys the crap (I feel) I wrote in my depressive state. Elaborating on that, the sequel to His will be on hiatus also as I go through and rewrite that. I don't know when I'll upload another story, including that superhero story I was telling you guys about. I'm sorry if y'all are disappointed with me but this is what's going on. I hope you enjoy the rest of His, as it'll probably be completed within the week. I also start work this week (training for me is tomorrow) and when I get home, you guys will get another part. So yeah, thank you for raving over the parts and for your words of encouragement, but I feel it isn't fair to y'all to not know what is going on. God Bless
