The next morning was chaotic, chaotic with events and feelings. Overpowering with color. "Yes mom I promise I'll be home after the storm, I love you" I said before hanging up and walking back out to the room. Billie was sitting on the floor and Gia was on the bed, "I hate snow" I mumbled, "I know Billie won't ever shut up about you" Gia mumbled and Billie sighed dramatically. I sighed and went outside to the balcony, "what are you doing dummy it's cold out here" Billie said wrapping her favorite blanket around me and putting on a hoodie. Her scent filled my nostrils and it made me feel guilty because of what occurred. "I understand your color theory" Billie mumbled after a while, "you do?" I asked looking at her and she nodded. "But I feel like we should talk about it once we're home" she said, "I don't know if I wanna go back home" I said and she looked at me questionably, "the color is grey there, he's there and it's grey" I mumbled and she nodded . "You like New York because it makes it quite?" She asked and I nodded. "We can stay as long as you want" she said, "we?" I asked. "Yea Im not leaving New York without you" she said and slowly intertwined our fingers, "what about annoying?" I asked and she laughed. "I got her a ticket out when the weather calms down" she said and I smiled. Her smile and understanding made me feel guilty. It made my heart ache. "Billie I have to tell you something" I mumbled when the door opened. "We got alcohol to keep us warm" Micheal said and Billie smiled before pulling me inside.
The alcohol not only made the room spin but it made the guilt feel intense and made me feel like the colors were burning me. "Never have I ever kissed two people in this room" Gia announced loudly out of the blue and took a chug of her beer with a smug smirk. "Who?" Billie asked and my eyes started to water. "Please let me explain" I said to the blue eyed girl but she stood up in anger.
