Danny had the tendency of winning over the heart of anyone he smiled at with that stupid cheesy smile. He was a beautiful boy that made the sky's bright and made the world turn.
The beginning.
I struggled to reach the book on the top shelf until I heard a chuckle behind me and he reached over my head and handed me the book. "I'm Daniel" he said with a wide smile and I smiled and shook his hand. "You need more height don't you think?" He asked, "and you need more sun you're pale" I answered and he put his hand over his chest dramatically.

"Babe come on you can't tell me you have lived here for a entire year and you have not seen the stars at night" he said as he carried the blanket. "Shut up" i said and he laughed laying the blanket down. We stared at the stars and he smiled at me. "You remind me of them" he said randomly. "How?" I asked, "you light up the sky like them" he said and I smiled and laid on him. "You're so cheesy" I said making a gagging sound and he laughed with me. "You remind me of the color pink" I mumbled, "how?" He asked, "a friend once told me the color pink represents love" I said and he smiled brightly.

"The stars again Danny really?" I asked as he had made me dress up only for us to stare at the stars again. "It's special" he said sitting down and patting the ground next to him. We stared at them for a while. "I bought you a star" he said handing me the certificate and I smiled brightly and embraced him. "It's beautiful" I said admiring it. "Look at the ñame" he said. Will you marry me was the name of the star and I nodded quickly before tackling him and kissing his face multiple times.

I stood at the small alter in secret from everyone with my beautiful boy because all I needed was him and his beautiful smile and color to be whole. "You thought you could marry my daughter!" My dad said bursting in and shooting him. I remember dropping to the ground and covering his wound but my hands were covered with the color red like my world turned quickly and all at once. "Stay awake with me my love please we're going to get married" I sobbed against him. His breathing was so heavy and slow. "What did you do!" I yelled at the man standing in shock at the door. "I love you" is all he said before taking his last breathe in my arms. The breathe that killed me and made my world turn dark. The breathe that took away the love of my life. The breathe that turned my sky dark above me.

I wasn't looking for love when I found Danny but I did and he loved me with all of him as so did I. My dad never liked Danny because he planned to take me away as soon as we got married, he protected me and lit up the world. He lit up my world. My beautiful beautiful boy.
