POV: KEIJI AKAASHI.
"So, we might be able to recharge our phones," Kuroo says as he falls onto his bed. I felt a sigh of relief leave my lungs, and the tense atmosphere lift a little. "Our only problem is, creating a way to store that power we generate. I'll figure it out tomorrow," He mumbles that last part, turning onto his side.
I already knew a way we could recharge our phones and store the power, but just as I was about to begin talking, Bokuto cut in. "But isn't tomorrow the day they're taking us into the walls?" He was right. And as he stretched his legs out against the ladder of the bunk, I let out another sigh because he was shaking the bed I was sitting on. If you didn't know, or at least couldn't tell, he had begged me to bunk with him after offering to instead bunk with Kenma. I knew he would be all upset about it if I had rejected him, so here I am. And because I know you people would want to know, I'm on the lower bunk. I don't mind though, it's easier to get out of bed in the morning. It's just annoying how every time he climbs the ladder to get to the top bunk, it shakes the bed. Not to mention how at night every time he turns the noise just- I'm getting off topic.
Kuroo answers his question. "It is, but I can just leave behind schematics for them to build while we're gone. Besides, we still have a day to get to know the place better before they send us off. I'll talk with them as much as I can before we do."
Bokuto nods, before climbing up the ladder of his bunk and lying down. I finally get the chance to speak. "I brought a power bank with us before we came here, we can use that for power storage," I tell Kuroo, who sits back up again. "Well why didn't you tell me sooner?!" He groans.
"Well, considering how we're being taught to get around with grappling hooks and swords with metal boxes attached to our waists so we can kill gigantic, humanoid, pretty much cannibalistic monsters, I would say that it easily slipped my mind," I tell him, trying to convey my irritation about the situation we were put in.
The bedhead rubs his temples. "Okay, okay, fine." Slumping back against the wall behind him, his eyes seemingly zone out. "I'm tired," he mutters under his breath.
"So, you guys," Bokuto says enthusiastically. "What do you think might happen if more people come here?" The Karasuno duo who was sitting atop a bunk across him, Kageyama on the lower fidgeted with his fingers listening quietly to the conversation above. Hinata was lying down on the upper bunk, fidgeting around with something I couldn't seem to make out. The latter didn't respond, but the short ginger did.
Hinata sat up frantically. Then, I noticed he was holding a short knife. It almost looked like a dagger, but not as small as one. It's distinctive amber handle carved with leaves stood out to me, and I was so surprised to see him fidgeting around with it that I forgot to ask him to at least be careful with it. I later recognized it as the one Levi had given to him."You know, I never thought about that. Hey, Kuroo-san. What will we do?" Hinata asks. When the bedheaded Kuroo heard his name called again, he fell dramatically onto his bed, rolled off the mattress, laid on the floor and put his hands on his face. For the first time in a while, I hear him let out a muffled shout of frustration.
