Ah, the lunchroom. Louis thought, looking around at the different cliques spread out around the cafeteria. Everywhere I go it'll always be like this. Louis glanced down at his tray and frowned at the mystery meat, glancing up to look around the lunchroom again. A few people turned to look at him, still in awe that someone as mysterious and 'dark' could get into this school. Little did they know, his father slept with the dean so he could get in because no other school wanted him.

Louis sneered at one of the girl's giving him an envious stare, and she quickly looked away, her cheeks burning red. Suddenly, his eyes landed on a familiar curly haired lad who sat next to some tall buff boy with chcocolate brown eyes. They seemed to be in an intense conversation about something on their phone, and so Louis saw this as a perfect oppurtunity to walk over and make friends since no one made it easier for him.

"Curly, wanna introduce me to your friend?" Louis asked, taking a seat across the two boys. Harry dropped his phone against the table, mouth opening with surprise at the fact that Louis is talking to him. Liam glanced at his friend, who was on the edge of insanity, and held his hand out to Louis.

"I'm Liam, you must be the pastor's son." Liam said , a bright smile on his face. "Welcome to the lamest high school ever."

"I'm Louis," Louis responded, then turning to look at Harry. He was staring at Louis until Liam nudged him in the ribs, coughing dramatically. Louis furrowed his eyebrows with confusion at Harry's ability to copletely zone out whenever he's in front of him. Was it because he thought that Louis was scary?

"Sorry about Harry, he just has an issue with talking to other people." Liam apoligized, clutching Harry's arm gently. He started whispering things in the boy's ear, and Harry nodded; his breathing starting to come out normally, and his cheeks turning back to it's regular shade.

"H-Hi Louis." Harry breathed, avoiding eye contact.

Liam jumped in to keep the conversation going. "So how's your first day here, Louis?"

"So far? It's been filled with people staring at me and asking if my tattoos were real." Louis snorted. "Everyone already thinks I'm a psycho."

"I don't know what you have been hearing, but everybody thinks that you're attractive and so that gives them a reason to stare and too nervous to communicate." Liam said, taking a fry off of Harry's tray and dipping it in barbeque sauce. "No one has ever seen someone like you before- like with tattoos and such."

"I can tell." Louis replied, looking behind him to see a group of girls sending heart eyes his way. He thought about telling them that he liked dicks anyways, but he didn't want to open up to these people quite yet. He didn't care what they would think anyways, but he just wanted to say it at the right moment.

"What does the one on your chest mean?" Harry asked.

Louis looked down, seeing that his tattoo peaked out of his shirt and shrugged. "It depends on how you interpret it, I guess."

"Did it hurt?"

"You aren't thinking about getting a tattoo are you, Harry?" Liam said jokingly. Harry looked down and his cheeks turned rosy red.

"N-No." Louis smiled at how adorable the boy was, and how he managed to brighten up Louis' day just by blushing.

"How was school today, Louis?" Louis' father asked, forcing an interested look on his face. There was another woman at the dinner table, and she looked like she came straight out of a playboy magazine. Louis stabbed his fork into his dry string beans, putting on a fake smile for his guest that will leave and never return after this is over.

"School was fine, thank you for asking father." Louis said, the venom clear in his voice. Louis' dad hated when Louis called him 'father' and not by his real name, he felt that Louis didn't have the right to since no son of his would ever be a failure. The woman, sensing the tension, cleared her throat and reached over to grab the salt from the middle of the table.

"These string beans are delicous." she stated, an encouraging smile on her face. Louis shot her a look of disdain because she and him both knew that these tasted like shit. His father never could cook, and when he used to live with his mum she would always tell him stories about how he nearly burned down the house. "Is that season salt I taste?"

"No, it's probably the leftovers of my dad's semen in your mouth." Louis corrected, knowing that if Zayn was here he would be choking on his oxygen supply. His father dropped his fork on his cleaned plate, and the girl shrieked with embarassment at the truth of his words- god, sometimes Louis loved himself. "Sorry, too far?"

"Louis Tomlinson, go to your room this instant." Father yelled, the viens popping out of his pale neck. Louis grinned and stood up from his chair, the wood scraping against the white tiles of the floor.

"Thought you'd never ask." Louis chirped. As soon as Louis made it back into his room, he collasped onto his bed and pulled out his phone from underneath the pillow, typing in his password. He opened his messages smiling when he realized that he had two from Zayn and a couple others from his friends back in the US.

zayn - going out tonight w/ nick & the boys

zayn - when i get back tell me all about ur first day. love u!!!!

Louis' happy mood plummeted when he realized that Zayn had a life, and that he was continuing it even with Louis gone. He at least expected Zayn to be the least bit busy with Louis on the other side of the Earth, but he guessed that he would be the same way too. So he did what any other friendless teen with a horrible father would do: slept.
