Chapter 18

Seungcheol couldn't process anything. Jeonghan lost his consciousness earlier for not being able to eat, and now suddenly a fire breaks out in their apartment.

Seungcheol's waiting outside the emergency room. It looks like Jeonghan got some bruises while he's inside the house before Seungcheol had rescued him.

He already messaged Jun to come over, and it's been an hour. He's too glad that he didn't leave at ease, or else Jeonghan must be in a real danger right now or probably dead.

An hour has passed, Jun and the others finally arrived. Joshua immediately ran and punched Seungcheol right in his face. The other guys calmed him down, "It's all your fault!" Joshua blamed him while pointing at him.

"I didn't know that a fire will break out! Stop blaming me!" Seungcheol fought back. Jihoon holds Joshua back. "Joshua stop. It's not his fault." Jihoon tried to calm Joshua down and he did.

The doctor came out and she told them that Jeonghan is fine now and he's finally awake. He just needs some rest. The apartment was burnt, and Jun can't even think where he should stay. All of them gathered in Jeonghan's hospital room to discuss the problem they're facing.

"We have nowhere to go." Jun said. He sounds and looks so troubled. He can't think of anywhere where he could stay.

"Jeonghan can stay with me in my house." Seungcheol said that made everyone widened their eyes, specially Joshua. "There's no way I will allow Jeonghan to stay with you. Jeonghan will stay with me." Joshua protested.

"He's staying with me." Seungcheol stood firm. Joshua almost picked a fight with Seungcheol again but Jeonghan stopped them. "I'll stay with Seungcheol." Jeonghan said, announcing his decision.

"What?! No, Jeonghan. You shouldn't." Joshua immediately reacted but Jeonghan held his hand. "I'm fine, Joshua. Plus, it will be much more convenient for our pretending to be in the same roof as his." Jeonghan reassured Joshua.

"I know you're just worried. But, it's Seungcheol. I'm safe with him, don't worry." Jeonghan added up and squeezed Joshua's hand. His bestfriend's hand. "You sounded like Seungcheol's boyfriend." Seungkwan teased and Jeonghan flushed pink.

He encountered so many troubles today, and now they're teasing him with Seungcheol again.

"Yah! When are you going to tell them, Boo?" Jeonghan asked. He's referring to his relationship with Vernon.

"Tell us what, Boo?" Seokmin asked, and there, they gulped like what they did in front of Seungcheol and Jeonghan earlier. Seungkwan looked at Vernon for help but Vernon just sighed and signaled Seungkwan to tell them already.

"Vernon and I.. are dating." Seungkwan said and everyone was left shocked, especially Mingyu. Wonwoo watched Mingyu's reaction and he suddenly felt an ache.

Does it really hurts this much to know that he really loves someone and it's not you? Wonwoo thought.

"Oh my- congratulations Boo!" Seokmin congratulated them and do so the other boys.

"C-Congrats.." Mingyu said, smiling a bit. "Let me get you guys some snacks," Mingyu excused himself and he immediately rushed outside. Wonwoo immediately followed him from behind.

"How are you feeling now?" Joshua asked Jeonghan who's laying down on his bed.

"Quite fine now." Jeonghan answered and managed to pull out a smile.

"Mingyu-ah! Wait up!" Wonwoo yelled, running towards Mingyu who's trying to stop his tears from falling.
