I clenched my fist hearing that. How can she be this merciless? I looked at both Jeonghan and Nagyeol. Nagyeol has a lot of bruises in her face, arms and legs. My sister...

As for Jeonghan, his cheek seems swollen. His fully buttoned uniform has now two buttons unbuttoned. I looked at Mr Nam behind Jeonghan.

"What did you do to Jeonghan?" I asked, directly looking at him. But then he smirked at me and walked towards Jeonghan. I saw how Jeonghan shook and trembled in fear when Mr Nam went near him.

"We were about to have fun, but unlucky us, you came." Jinyoung said and even slowly touches Jeonghan's face which triggers me. I was about to walk up to him and my urge to punch him has awaken, but then the gun was pointed right onto Jeonghan's head.

"Take another step, Seungcheol. They will both die." Rina threatened, referring to Jeonghan and Nagyeol.

"Where's my daughter?" Uncle Sanhyuk asked Rina, that's when Rina realized that Uncle Sanhyuk is also present. "Oh! You missed your daughter?" Rina asked and in an instant, Miyeon appeared, also tied in a chair.

Hwiyoung wanted to go to her, but the situation is too dangerous.

"Miyeon!" Uncle Sanhyuk was about to run towards his daughter, but Minseok hyung came out of nowhere, pointing a gun on Miyeon's head. "Minseok hyung?" I was shocked to see him, being on the enemy's side.

"Did we shock you too much, Seungcheol?" Rina asked, and I was so confused.

"Meet my son, Yoo Minseok." Rina introduced him to me. My eyes widened and I couldn't believe my ears and eyes. For years, I have trusted him.

"You must be wondering what he did that you never knew he was the one who did them." Rina said and rotates a gun in her finger. "The fire outbreak in Jeonghan's apartment... Telling Jeonghan that his Dad is the one who killed your mother making him realize that he should leave you..." Rina said, that made my world crash.

All of those, it was him? "All this time I was trying to get your help about my Mom's case, yet you're also one of them?" I couldn't believe it. The man I believed as Police Officer Kim Minseok is a traitor. I shouldn't have trusted him.

"I'm sorry, Cheol. It's meant to be this way." Minseok hyung said that I wanna cry. I treated him as an older brother, yet he's a traitor. He fooled me.

"So now, what's your choice?" Rina asked us. Referring to the question earlier. It's either Jeonghan or Nagyeol.

"If you choose Jeonghan, you will lose your sister. If you choose Nagyeol, you will lose your lover, and Jeonghan and Miyeon won't have any chance to be with each other." Rina smiled as she said those. Does she have any mercy? I doubt that she has.

"On the count of three, aim your gun on Rina." Sanhyuk whispered to me, then whispered something to Hwiyoung, Jisoo, Wonwoo, Jihoon and Dad too.

I'm getting my hand ready, I need to get my gun immediately. "One."

"Two."

"Three."

I immediately aimed my gun on Rina and shot it. I shot right on her hand so she loses her grip on her gun. The other workers are now down, and Minseok hyung was down now too.
