Chapter 24

After the scene at the quadrangle, Seungcheol together with the others immediately drove to the hospital where Jeonghan was taken to.

Mingyu was the one who drove Seungcheol's car since Seungcheol was spacing out. Seungcheol's phone was ringing multiple times, all of those missed calls were from his Dad, but he didn't bother to answer. His mind was filled with Jeonghan only.

As soon as they reached the hospital, Seungcheol immediately got off of the car and ran inside. He spotted Joshua and the others waiting outside. Minghao and Junhui were playing among themselves as Junhui keeps on bothering the other man while Minghao had enough of Junhui's constant bothering. While Jihoon and Soonyoung were busy chatting among themselves too and there's Joshua, patiently sitting there.

"Joshua! Jihoon! Soonyoung! Junhui! Minghao!" Seungcheol called them out and it did turn their attention on him.

"How's Jeonghan?" Instead of a nice answer, he received a punch from Joshua who's being hold back by Jihoon. Wonwoo lifted Seungcheol up as Seungcheol's lips started to bleed.

"It's all your motherfucking fault, Choi Seungcheol!" Joshua yelled at him with tears in his eyes. He has no one to blame but Seungcheol only. If Seungcheol didn't underestimate his ex-girlfriend, Jeonghan wouldn't be in that state.

"If it wasn't for that shitty deal you offered to him... He wouldn't be in this kind of situation! It's all your fault!" Joshua yelled once again, but this time he calmed himself down. Blaming Seungcheol won't be a help anymore.

The doctor suddenly went out of the room where Seungcheol assumed that Jeonghan is staying in. "Who's Mr Yoon's guardian?" Seungcheol immediately raised his hand and walked towards the doctor.

"How's Jeonghan, doc?" Seungcheol asked, with a bit watery eyes. He can't calm himself down if he's not yet sure that Jeonghan is extremely fine by now.

"He's already fine. Only minor injuries. Might be because someone banged his head that made his head bleed. Moreover, we can assure you that he's already fine. We also already treated his bruises." the Doctor explained which made Seungcheol sigh in relief.

"Can we come in his room now?" Joshua asked, and the doctor nods while giving them a smile.

Seungcheol, with the others behind him barged into Jeonghan's room. He looked so pale. After getting into two troubles yesterday now he got into trouble again. Seungcheol was blaming himself for everything to be honest. He didn't know that everything would turn out like this. He just wanted to get a rid of Areum, but the time that he fell for the man he's staring at right now, was also the time when he puts him into the horrible situations he never pictured nor imagined would happen.

He slowly walked up to Jeonghan and sat at the chair beside Jeonghan's bed. He picked up Jeonghan's hand and slowly caressed it on his cheeks.

"I think we should leave them alone." Jihoon said and drag them all outside. Even though Joshua was still mad and didn't want to leave Jeonghan alone, he also followed the rest outside the room, leaving Seungcheol alone with Jeonghan who's lying unconsciously on his hospital bed.

"I'm so sorry.." Seungcheol mumbled and tears started to stroll down his cheeks. He's too heartbroken seeing Jeonghan in that kind of state.

"If I only knew.." Seungcheol once again mumbled and lowered down his head, still holding Jeonghan's hand. He keeps on crying and crying until he drifted to sleep.

"I don't know what to do now, girls!" Areum screamed at the top of her lungs. They're still at the school campus, though everyone is leaving one by one.
