Chapter 63

"Choi Seungcheol!" Jeonghan wasn't able to answer Seungcheol's question due to Cheolhan's interruption.

As soon as Seungcheol turned his head, he received a slap from his father. Jeongyeon immediately mediate to avoid Cheolhan from hurting Seungcheol even more.

"Cheolhan stop it!" Jeongyeon said and blocks her body preventing Cheolhan from doing anything. Beomgyu also came.

"You will never learn, don't you?" Cheolhan asked. He sounded so mad. Everyone still can't process anything.

The fact that Seungcheol and Jeonghan are exes, and now this is happening.

"I gave you everything yet you still chose to be with that guy!!!" Cheolhan screamed at the top of his lungs!

Cheolhan's jaw started to tighten as he can't control his anger. All of what he done three years ago just to pester Jeonghan are all useless!

"My efforts are wasted from getting rid of that boy three years ago!" Cheolhan had a slip of tongue! He just realized it, and yet, Seungcheol's eyes started to widen.

"What do you mean getting rid of him three years ago?" Seungcheol this time asked.

Jeonghan's eyes widened as he knew, Seungcheol will finally know the truth from Cheolhan's own slip of tongue.

"Are you the reason why Jeonghan left three years ago?" Seungcheol's anger started to rise. He's starting to tear up.

"Yes," Junhui is the one who answered. Cheolhan couldn't believe it.

"What do you know about this, Jun?" Seungcheol asked, and now, all eyes are on Junhui.

"That day, three years ago, when Jeonghan came back from his one month rest, we were about to be punished by Mr Choi, but Jeonghan took the punishment for us. Minghao and I followed them and they stopped by the cafe. There, we heard what Mr Choi said to Jeonghan." Junhui started off, clearly. Without missing any single detail.

"Whether he'll break up with you, or Mr Choi will disown you plus Mr Choi will expel us all in the University." Junhui said, looking straight at Seungcheol's eyes.

"Our last day in Jeju, I already had a hunch that Jeonghan is just making his day count with you. But, I couldn't tell you. Jeonghan told me not to. Not until the day of your birthday, that's when Minghao and I knew, that he chose our future, than his happiness which is being with you." Junhui ended the story.

Seungcheol couldn't believe it. That his Dad, managed to do that to him. He felt betrayed. Jeongyeon and Beomgyu couldn't believe it too.

All those years, Seungcheol felt so hurt because he thought that Jeonghan left only for a reason that his Dad, Sanhyuk killed his Mom, Seunghee. That it's Jeonghan's choice to hurt him instead than to make things work even though the past of their parents are like that. But no, there's another reason.

"You did all of those?! What kind of father are you?!" Seungcheol shouted!

"So what? I did that for you!" Cheolhan shouted but then was stunned by Seungcheol's sudden shout, "You did that for yourself!" Seungcheol's tears he keeps on holding on is now pouring.

"I can't think of any reason why you did that except for the sake of your company!" Seungcheol shouted once again!

"For those three years I felt empty as I just follow all of your commands!" Seungcheol added up, crying. Cheolhan couldn't answer his son. "For three years I felt so numb! For three years I suffered mentally! For three years I've been longing for him and yet you're just the reason why I lost him for three years?!" Seungcheol shouted!
