Chapter 30

JEONGHAN'S POV

It's been two days since that day when Seungcheol confessed his feelings to me. I moved in an apartment owned by Mingyu. Yes, Mingyu himself. That rich guy, tch.

It's kinda sad that Junhui didn't moved in with me since I was really used to his presence during the times like this, but it's just me right now in this clean, elegant and expensive apartment. Mingyu gave it to me for free tho, so that, he said, I won't bother to stress myself with the rent. Junhui got his own apartment thanks to Mingyu also.

This new apartment of mine is really huge. I'm kinda glad that Mingyu still helped me despite of what happened.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Flashback

Seungcheol finally got the courage to say the words he really wanted Jeonghan to know. Jeonghan was completely speechless. The other guys are watching the both of them. Yes, the other guys came too. Jisoo, Seokmin, Minghao, Junhui and Chan. They all witnessed Seungcheol's confession.

Jisoo couldn't help but to feel envy and jealous. He never had the courage to do what Seungcheol is doing right now. He never got to confess his real feelings towards his bestfriend, Jeonghan.

Jeonghan then suddenly remember something. The Deal.

"The last rule is. . ."

"If you fall inlove with me, you're mine." Seungcheol said.

"Then what if it's you who fall inlove with me?" Jeonghan dared, and Seungcheol smirked. He was so confident that time.

"Then I won't bother you ever again."

Those were Seungcheol's last words. Jeonghan clearly heard it. Seungcheol is the one who broke the rule of the deal.

Seungcheol fell for him while they're on this deal. Jeonghan wondered, why does the thought of avoiding Seungcheol, his Cheollie, hurts him so much?

Jeonghan held Seungcheol's hands tight. He heaved a sigh. A deal is a deal. They can never be the same again after this, he knew it. So he needs to follow what they had discussed before their deal has happened.

"Cheollie.." that was the first thing that came out in Jeonghan's mouth, but both of them wanted to break down. "We have the last rule, don't we?" He tried to make Seungcheol remember. He doesn't want to hurt him but it's needed.

"Seungcheol we can't.." He mumbled to Seungcheol and Seungcheol on the other hand, finally remembers the last rule. The rule that he made.

He was so certain that he won't fall inlove with him. But no, he did. I mean, who wouldn't, right? Seungcheol felt his knees getting weak as soon as he had the thought that he needs to avoid him. No more talking and such.

Jeonghan also needs to do this. He has a girlfriend that he just remembered just now. Sowon's existence as his girlfriend should never be forgotten.

"Seungcheol, we can't. We really can't. We'll never be the same again.." Jeonghan managed to say those words, even though deep inside? There's a burden. A burden that keeps on telling him that he's doing it wrong. It shouldn't be supposed to be like this.

"Cheollie, it's for the better. We cannot stay as what we used to like this thing never happened." Jeonghan tried to make Seungcheol understand. Seungcheol keeps on sobbing quietly. Seungcheol nods multiple times and sniffles.
