Chapter 31

SEUNGKWAN'S POV

We worriedly watch as Seungcheol throws multiple punches on Hwiyoung and Hwiyoung does the same. I bit my fingernails. I should do something.

"Choi Seungcheol! Kim Hwiyoung!" I shouted. I'm still the Student Council Vice President after all.

I signalled Mingyu and Wonwoo to hold Seungcheol back, and I signalled Hansol to hold Hwiyoung back.

I ran outside the cafeteria. I need to find Jeonghan hyung right now.

JEONGHAN'S POV

Sowon released the hug and she looks so excited and held both of my hands. "Jeonghan-ah!" She cheerfully called my name out.

I forced out a smile and let out a fake laugh, "Sowon-ah.. what are you doing here?" I asked and I scanned her. She's already in her uniform.

"I'm here to see you," she casually answered, but I didn't respond to her, instead I stared at her. "Why? Don't you want me here?"

"I-It's not like that.. It's just, why did you came back this early?" I asked. It's supposed to be two months, but here she is, in front of me.

"You sounded like you don't want me here.." she pouted. I know it's not appropriate but I suddenly remembered Seungcheol with those pouts. He loves to pout.

I came back to my senses, "I-It's not like that.." I said and forced out a smile. Focus, Jeonghan. Your girlfriend is here so you better give all your time and company to her.

"Let's go grab some lunch," I said and placed my arm around her shoulder. We walked through the empty hallway. Students must be at the cafeteria right now.

"So, how was Japan?" I tried to ask her some questions about what she did in Japan.

"It's great. I'd really love to stay there after finishing this school year."

"Don't you wanna stay here in Korea?" I asked. That seems to be surprising. Like, she will live in Japan for good.

"I had a better future ahead of me in Japan. And, I'd like you to come with me." Her last sentence made me stop. Going with her to Japan? Yes, that was my goal at the very first place, but it seems like I had change of minds.

I couldn't answer her. I just stared at her and she's patiently waiting for my response. Do I want to live with her in Japan? Am I ready to leave everything here in Korea?

My thoughts were vanished away when we realized that we're now in front of the school cafeteria, but students keeps on gathering. Looks like there's a chaos.

But then, someone from my back called out my name, "Jeonghan hyung!" It was Seungkwan, panting. He placed his hand on my shoulder, probably as a support since I can clearly tell that he's tired.

"What's happening?" I asked full of authority. There might be a fight inside the cafeteria, and as the Student Council President, I need to discipline every students here.

"It was.. K-Kim Hwiyoung.. a-and.. C-Choi Seungcheol." the moment he said Seungcheol's name, I don't know why but my feet immediately rushed inside the cafeteria, leaving Seungkwan and Sowon there.
