Chapter 49: Day 1

JEONGHAN'S POV

I woke up and saw Seungcheol laying down beside me. He looks so innocent when he's asleep. Just kidding.

I slowly tried getting up, trying not to make any noise to wake him up. But then, I got surprised when he pulled my wrist back to the bed and locked me in his arms and embraced me tightly.

"Five more minutes. Stay here for five more minutes." he mumbles as he still tightening his hug. I don't have any other choice but to just let him hug me like that. As if I have the urge and strength to refuse. He's my weakness.

"Am I really back in Pledis University?" he asked, whispering. Then, the thought of Mr Choi's deal he's offering to me came in. It took me a long time before answering, "Yes,"

He hugs me much more tighter. "I'm glad I can finally be with you again 24/7." he whispered. I chuckled. We couldn't spend our time together since I have school and he has a work, that I just knew recently.

"Let's go. Or else, we'll be late." I said and got up. He still wanted to stay up on the bed, but I remained firm and got up.

"What's for breakfast?" Seungcheol asked. I scanned the fridge, and all we got is some egg and hotdogs. Some milk too. Maybe enough for breakfast?

"Shall I just have you for breakfast?" He sounds sleepy, and I turned at him and pointed the fork at him I didn't know where did came from. "Enough of that. We only have eggs and hotdogs left." I said and dropped the fork. He slowly smiled.

"That's completely fine. As long as you're the one I'm gonna eat with." he even winked, but instead, I just threw a towel at him. He's making it so hard for me to let him go.

But then suddenly, his phone rang, and answered it in front of me without any hesitation. This is the thing I love the most about him. He doesn't want me to overthink and not trust him, so he always picks up the calls he gets in front of me.

"Minseok hyung?" he said when he answered the call. I suddenly got serious. Maybe it's about his Mom again.

"Really? Okay, then," he hangs up the call, so I looked at him with 'what-did-he-say?' look. "Minseok hyung got some footage the night of the incident where someone shot my Mom to death. He got new footages." he said, and I just looked at him with worried look.

I know he's been seeking for justice, but I'm a bit scared of what he might do once he finds out who is the killer that night.

"Shall we go after school?" he asked me. But I thought about it. "Maybe we can go to his office first before coming to school." I said and opened the stove and started cooking.

SEUNGCHEOL'S POV

We finished eating our breakfast and it's already time for us to take a bath. After we both washed the dishes, since I wanted the both of us to do it, we proceeded to our own rooms to take a shower.

I took my phone with me, and started to play some music.
