Chapter 61

"Just don't put too much pressure hmm? Minhyuk?" Doctor Kim called Minhyuk out.

"Take care of him. He needs physical support for his knee. After three to four days, his knee will be fine again." Doctor Kim smiled at Minhyuk.

"Sure thing, Doc." Minhyuk answered. The nurse and Doctor Kim left Minhyuk and Jeonghan for a while.

"Yah, Minhyuk-ah." Jeonghan called Minhyuk. Minhyuk sat down on the edge of the bed. "Hmm?"

"I heard you." Jeonghan said, which kinda confused Minhyuk. "Heard what?" He asked.

"I heard what you said to Seungcheol." Jeonghan said directly. Minhyuk avoided his gaze in an instant.

"You know that I don't want him to know the truth, right?" Jeonghan asked, a bit teary. After that incident, Jeonghan never wanted Seungcheol to know the truth. It's better that way.

"His future will mess up once he knew." That's Jeonghan's number one fear. Seungcheol's future getting ruined because of him.

"You're hurting each other with this decision, Han." Minhyuk said. One thing that Minhyuk hates about himself, is that he likes Jeonghan so much, yet he still wanted him to be happy, even if it's not him.

"I will rather choose to hurt ourselves than to ruin Seungcheol's bright future ahead of him." Jeonghan said and held Minhyuk's hand. "Please promise me you won't do that again."

Minhyuk sighed and held Jeonghan's hand who's holding his other hand, "Alright. I won't do it again." Minhyuk smiled and do so Jeonghan.

"Let's get back to class now. I heard Mrs Jung has an important announcement." Minhyuk smiled at Jeonghan, before offering his hand on him.

Jeonghan accepted his hand and Minhyuk immediately supported Jeonghan by waist. "Wrap your arms around me tightly. You might fall..." Minhyuk looked at Jeonghan and Jeonghan looked at him too, "...for me." Minhyuk smirked.

The two of them left the clinic, but before that, Jeonghan wrote on a sticky note and stuck it on the wall.

Dear Nurse Cha and Doctor Kim,
Thank you for treating my knee.
I haven't said thank you yet so here I am. Thank you so much! ^^

"Here they are," Mrs Jung said as soon as she saw Minhyuk and Jeonghan coming in.

"Are you okay now, Jeonghan?" Mrs Jung asked and of course, the angel nods. "Yes, Mrs Jung. Minhyuk is taking care of me well." Jeonghan said and walked with Minhyuk towards their seats.

They walked passed by Seungcheol and Seungcheol's eyes immediately landed on Jeonghan's knee, and right after that, on Minhyuk's hand who's holding Jeonghan's waist, tightly.

Seungcheol and Minhyuk had an eye contact. Seungcheol asked Minhyuk about the truth he's saying through his eyes, but Minhyuk's face is just so blank.

Minhyuk and Jeonghan sat down.

"Since the two of you are already here, let me announce the announcement first." Mrs Jung said and happily looked at everyone.

"So as you guys know, next week is Seungcheol's birthday. So, Mr Choi, Seungcheol's father, decided that the party and the prom that was being discussed since last month will be held here, in the quadrangle at the same time." Mrs Jung clapped her hands! Everyone became so excited about it.

"The theme will be masquerade. Mr Choi, the owner, decided that, the prom should be held during Seungcheol's birthday."

"So, our birthday boy will pick the Star of the Night, and the Prom King and Queen!" Mrs Jung added.
