Waking up was a disorienting experience. I knew I had evolved once again, but actually experiencing the effects was grand. I had grown, like a lot.
To put it into perspective, the forest where I had lived once was like a tiny replica set on a table.
I was just that large. I had no idea how huge I'd become in the future, my best guess is the size changes wouldn't be too big compared to the last couple of times.
I looked around me, and noticed that the plains that had once existed was transformed into more of a meadow with grass covering the entire area.
Did I do that?
Not only that though, I soon found out something I had been really excited for, my wings!
I fucking finally had wings!
If that wasn't enough cause for celebration, I also felt much stronger.
I checked my stats, and yep, I got insanely stronger.
Now this is what I'm talking about.
I also checked my skills, and this is the list.
Skills -
Human Tongue.
Dragon Tongue.
Healing Magic, level: 3.
Transformation (Configurable).
Nature Magic, level: 5.
Auto-Recovery, level: 5.
Nature's Breath of Death, level: 7.
Nature's Breath of Life, level: 7
.
Sense Presence, level: 1.
Hide Presence (Strong), level: 7.
Nature Dragon's Passive (Matured).
Might not seem like much, I'll go over the new changes.
First, Transformation, it does what your expecting it too, and that means when I run into some humans, I can transform into one, and blend in.
Ah, finally, human interaction after so long, I can't wait~
I can also configure the settings and create up to 10 different "Presets" so it's better to think of it as a disguise skill.
There was also, healing magic, but that's self explanatory so I'll skip it.
Same for Human Tongue and Dragon Tongue, basically I can speak those two languages without much effort it seems.
most of my skills just leveled up a bunch, nothing too big.
There was something to note though, my Enemy-Threat skill was gone, and in it's place was Sense Presence, which made me think, did my skill evolve?
My Nature Dragon's Passive had changed a little, but mostly the percentage got buffed.
Not too sure what it meant by "Matured" though, does that mean I'm an adult now?
I guess it doesn't matter that much, I'll ask that shitty god when I get the chance next time.
But damn, now that I'm looking around, doesn't the place just feel off?
How should I put it?
It feels like it's changed?
Hmm.
Ah, well.
Time to go test my wings, I'm sure it's nothing.
After about an hour of trying to fly, I realized how insanely hard it is to fly without practice.
Seriously, god, why didn't you give me these earlier!?
Though, I was surprised by how exhausted I was just trying to fly.
Maybe it wasn't just that?
I didn't notice until now, but my body felt very unusual too.
Like doing the simplest of things was so much harder for me.
I didn't quite understand what was going on.
Eventually I decided to take a break, and take a nap, night time was coming anyway.
-------
Yep, I was back in this white space again.
"Heyo~ Been a long time~" The shitty god spoke as casually as ever to me.
"It hasn't been that long has it?" I asked. I didn't really know how long I was out for, but it couldn't have been long?
"I see! You don't know yet, do you?~ Well, that makes sense, you've only just woken up after all!~" The shitty god continued.
"Eh!? How long was I asleep for?" I asked, anxiously.
"Well~ That poison in your body was extremely powerful, even after evolving it didn't go away easily, thankfully you evolved and your recovery skills got buffed immensely, otherwise you'd be dead!~"
"Tell me, how long I was out for!" I screamed.
"No need to be so tense!~ You were just out for ~~~~ or so." The shitty god said, whispering under his breath so I couldn't hear what he was saying.
"I'm sorry, but could you repeat that a little louder?" I asked, my face? feeling like tensing up.
"I said, you just out for 10 million years or so~" The shitty god said while whistling away as he avoided eye contact.
"T-Ten million years!?" I shouted.
"Mhm." The shitty god affirmed while avoiding me still.
"I can't believe I was asleep for ten million years!" I yelled.
"Well, you were, and I must say, you've done a great job at the role I assigned you! Even I'm surprised you were able to populate the planet with so many dragons!~" The shitty god added even further insult to injury.
"What, what did you just say?!" I asked.
"Surely you noticed you body feeling sluggish, right? It's because you had so many little offspring's I thought you'd die from exhaustion~" The shitty god replied.
"You mean I-? No, but I'm a- Wait, do I have-?" My mind couldn't keep up.
"Well, Dragons reproduce asexually usually, but don't worry, you're still a man!~" The shitty god explained.
"How does that even? You know what? No, I'm not gonna ask anymore questions." My brain simply refused to acknowledge any of this.
"Well, anyway, that's most of what I wanted to say, oh and before I forget again, watch out for the bad guy I accidentally reincarnated, ok, bye~"
Wait, what did he just say!?
was my last thought, before I awoke to the rising sun.
