"Hmmm"

An old ripped man, with a scar over his face and shaggy silver hair hummed in thought to himself.

This was the elder dragon of the West Dragon Tribe, Silvar.

And currently he was thinking about the story and my purpose for coming here today.

"If that is truly the case, then the world is in grave danger." He spoke after a long time of silence.

I nodded my head.

"Then you'll let me-?" I began to ask, but Silvar held out his hand and stopped me from speaking more.

"I did not say I would just casually hand over the tribes treasure to you. You of all people should know that the food that has been stored is incredibly precious, it could allow a stage 1 dragon to reach at least stage 3 in mere seconds. If not higher. How can I willingly let go of such powerful treasure? The world may be ending, but I refuse to give them to you unless you prove yourself first." He explained.

He wasn't wrong, and in any other circumstance I'd have felt this was reasonable to a degree, but right now the world was in danger and the east dragon tribe was reaching closer to extermination every second, which meant the tribes treasure was in danger even more so.

I was beginning to grow impatient, but kept my cool and asked.

"How do I prove myself to you?"

Silvar responded in one word with a prideful smile.

"Fight."

"Fine, just tell me who, and I'll fight them." I replied, annoyed.

These dragons sure do love to fight.

"Normally, I would schedule a tournament and call it a grand event, but if you are saying we are pressed for time, then I will simply make it a two round fight. The first round you will fight my sons,  and the last round will be a fight with me. If you can make my family submit to you, then I will naturally not hold any reservations against you taking our treasure." Silvar explained in detail the contents of the fight.

So, I had to fight two on one in the first match, and then fight someone who was already stronger than me in the second?

I may not be the wisest dragon, but It doesn't take a monkey to figure out the reasoning behind this.

They simply don't want me to get their treasure, making such an impossible fight.

Nevertheless, I agreed.

I had to.

Regardless of my feelings of becoming a god, my family, Aster, Dahlia, and Lily, and even these dragons who are my descendants, they were all important to me, and I needed to make sure no harm befell them.

And that meant I had to do whatever was necessary.

Silvar showed a look of admiration as I stood brave and tall, while agreeing to fight his two sons.

He quickly made preparations and arranged an appropriate arena for us to duel in, even in our dragon forms.

Silvar's two sons, Magnar, and Blagnar, were both stage 3 dragons and incredibly powerful.

Blagnar was the black dragon I had followed before, and Magnar seemed to be a red dragon.

I made some guesses as to their abilities by their color, but I wasn't all too familiar with other dragons beside myself, I had no idea if these guesses were correct.

I decided not to chance it and would instead have to hope that I can overcome whatever abilities they have on them.

We all started in our human forms, which would be a great advantage to me as I've had the most experience in it, regardless of fighting experience, there was no part of the human body that I did not have a deep understanding of.
