Falling from the sky wasn't really as bad as it used to be.

Because I gained a cool ability when becoming a god.

I could sprout my original dragon wings from my back despite being in my human form.

I quickly checked my stats to see what all had changed and was welcomed by an interesting sight.

My race had changed from an Apex Nature Dragon to a Dragon God of Nature.

Well, they both had nature in their name, so whatever.

This just means that the faith of the dragons was powerful enough to make the plan work.

And just in time too.

The time in the gods realm must be slower than in the mortal realm, because the destruction that was caused had spread far beyond what I had anticipated.

Only about a third of the planet was left.

It was barely enough to call it a planet, or anything really.

How this small chunk managed to sustain life was beyond me.

As I slowed my descent with my wings I decided to use my Sense Presence skill to search for the fake hero.

After a while, I had found him.

But, before that, I needed to check something.

I headed towards the last remaining chunk of planet left.

I used my skill again and managed to find a rather pleasant surprise.

This last chunk of land was actually the entire southern part of the continent.

I saw my plenty of familiar faces gathered together.

Aster and the little ones, Silvar, the young dragon elder, and even the female elder was there.

I have absolutely no clue how she had survived, and apparently she didn't either.

Maybe it was her skill?

Ah well, something to think about later.

I didn't exactly need to ask them that the entire planet was mostly gone and on it's last bit of hope.

I ended up having some alone time with Aster for a few hours while everyone else not so sneakily watched.

Sigh.

Honestly, you guys, could at least give us some privacy?

Annoyed and unsatisfied, I decided to wait to have alone time with Aster after this whole saving the world business was completed.

With that, I said my temporary farewells to everyone and took off towards the bastard that started this whole thing.

Right there in the center of the line of destruction running through the last bits of land that existed, was a figure clad in all black.

Honestly, I couldn't even see him normally, the only I could find him was through his presence being left wide open to search skills.

I charged head on towards the figure, but it simply continued on with it's day like nothing happened.

As for me, my body was feeling as though it was being torn apart entirely.

This was what being the Human God of Destruction meant, huh!?

I fought through the absolute searing pain coursing through my body and decided that I was not going to let this end here.

I released all the power in my being with all the combinable skills I had and willed life to exist.

My body exuded life energy.

I am life.

I am energy.

I am god.

Wherever my green holy light touched the land that been destroyed was reborn as I was.

The Human God had noticed this and turned around while saying.

"Error. Miscalculation. I missed a spot."

It talked between an AI and a maid cleaning dust.

Life continued to be restored around me, and in return I could gain the energy it provided making me feel even stronger than before.

With a thought many balls of green fire instantly formed around me and flew straight out towards the god.

As that happened, the god too released pitch black balls of darkness and collided head on with my attack.

The fight had officially started now.
