I undid my transformation and returned my dragon form, and quickly swiped my tail completely around the arena.
I didn't expect it do much, but it was enough to get Blagnar to reveal himself for a brief second.
In that second, I changed back to my human form and rushed towards him while preparing another large fireball in my mouth.
He looked towards me in shock and was ready to hop back into the shadows, but even though I wasn't finished charging up my attack, I launched it anyway in order to keep him from going back to the shadows and attempting to draw the fight out longer.
The blast hit him head on, but that wasn't enough to put him out of commission yet, so I prepared another fireball while drawing in as much life from the plants around me as possible.
I released the ball and in a moment, Blagnar had been rendered unconscious.
I had won, but I was completely spent afterwards.
As all the energy left my body, I could hear the crowds cheers as my vision began to get blurry and my eyelids became heavy.
When I next awoke I was lying down in a bed.
Silvar came in not long after and noticed I had awoken.
"Congratulations, you passed the first match. But, just because you're my father doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you." He said.
I tried to give a confident smile, but I ended up wincing in pain.
"Rest. We will fight when you have finished healing." He said.
I couldn't argue with him, because my entire body was already in immense pain.
I have no idea how I'm going to make it through the next fight like this.
I decided to take a nap and wait until it was time for me to face Silvar.
That night I woke to the familiar white space.
"You look pretty tired." A familiar voice spoke to me.
"What do you want now?" I asked.
"Just to give you some encouragement and advice." He replied.
"What advice?" I snorted.
"How rude! You don't know anything about Silvar's abilities, right? Well, guess who does?~" He said, planting both arms around his waist.
"Fine, tell me the details." I said.
"Right, so the thing is..."
He explained a lot of things that I hadn't expected.
I'm actually kind of happy now that he's explaining things, I'd be dead for sure in the fight if he didn't.
After that, there was some other things he had left to say to me.
He explained that he pulled some strings and managed to convince the other gods that if I really became a god, they would allow me to take up to four people with me into the gods realm.
Unfortunately, that left me with a bit of a dilemma.
Aster, Dahlia, and Lily I would for sure take with me.
But who would be the fourth?
I didn't know.
I decided to think about that after I succeed, since there was a lot riding on me right now.
We talked a bit more on the plan for the fight against Silvar, before god ended up telling me some new information he had just gotten while we were chatting.
Apparently, that fake hero was growing more powerful than we anticipated.
That wasn't good.
That meant our previous plans needed to be sped up quickly, or else the planet will be doomed.
"I know you were going to try and evolve straight to stage 5 when you got to the East Dragon Tribe, but right now you need to get stronger quickly." god told me.
I nodded my head in reluctance.
I guess it was about time I used "that".
